These Wild Card games are do-or-die, so in light of this we’ll give our quick prediction of who will win:

The Yanks will be batting at their best and starting pitcher Masahiro Takaka will do away with anything that the Astros put up. New York will head to the ALDS to face the Royals (that’ll be another story).

Meanwhile, the Cubs’ with Jake Arrieta will do away with all of Pittsburgh’s batters, as can be expected. It’s going to be Chicago advancing to the series.

OK, now that we’ve looked at the MLB Wild Card games, let’s move onwards to the Division Series.

American League Division Series

Like we mentioned above, the Yanks will be facing the Royals once they win tonight against Houston. Once this happens, we expect that the Royals will win the series, unless A-Rod can lead the Yanks to an unlikely win.

In the other series, it’s going to be the Texas Rangers facing the Toronto Blue Jays. If you’ve followed the Rangers this season, you probably realize that this is as far as they’ll get and the Blue Jays will be advancing with a sweep.

National League Division Series

On this side of the bracket, we have the New York Mets, for the first time since 2006, facing the Los Angeles Dodgers. Despite the strong pitching of Zack Greinke and Clayton Kershaw, we expect that deGrom, Harvey, and Syndergaard will be able to pull the Mets through to the Championship Series.

The other series find one of the most exciting matchups in the divisional rounds: The Chicago Cubs vs the St. Louis Cardinals. Although the Cardinals took the top spot in the NL West, winning 100 games, we’re predicting that it’ll be the Cubs that will pass through in five, behind a strong performance of Jon Lester, who will do away with the Cardinal’s batters.

We’re going to go out on a limb and bet our predictions are correct. If this is the case, let’s look a bit further ahead to the Championship Series.

American League Championship Series

Toronto Blue Jays vs Kansas City Royals: The Blue Jays led by David Price and a strong offense, will head to the World Series once again, since their appearance in 1993.

National League Championship Series

Who could have expected the Mets and the Cubs to be in the Championship Series? Behind Jake Arrieta’s incredible pitching, the Cubs will do away with the New York Mets and reach the World Series.

World Series

It’s going to be the Cubs first time to reach the World Series ever since the 1945 Series, when they lost to the Detroit Tigers in seven games. The Cubs haven’t won a Series since 1908, and we’re expecting them that they’ll find their mojo and win this year.

What do you think, will the Cubs finally find their way to the World Series and win?
