Warriors Look to End Series on Game 5 Tonight

The Cleveland Cavaliers need to win tonight in order to extend the series and send it back to Quicken Loans Arena. However, it’s going to be easier said than done given how good the Warriors are on their home court. Can the Cavaliers pull of an upset win at Oracle Arena or will the Warriors cap themselves with a win? Keep reading for the details of this crucial game…

Bet on Cleveland

To say it’s not looking pretty for the Cleveland Cavaliers would be a gross misstatement. Because it’s really looking horrible at this point being down 1-3 in the series. No team has EVER from being down three games to one in the Finals and playing at Oracle Arena makes it ever harder.

That said, when you have one of the best basketball players in the world on your team your opponents would be fools to think they’ve already beaten you. Of course, we’re referring to LeBron James; James leads the team in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. But, he’s also been a bit careless with the ball with an average of six turnovers per game over the last four matches.

If James powers this offense, he’s going to need the help of his wingmen: Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. Irving has been pulling his own weight with 24 points on average per game, while Love accounts for 16.

Needless to say, the Cavaliers need to keep the pressure on Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. If they can manage to keep them at bay, then they have a solid shot at winning.

Bet on Golden State

Golden State isn’t likely to take any chances and they’ll want to drive a nail in Cavaliers’ coffin. That means taking advantage that they’re playing at home tonight and going out there and crushing their opponents.

With Draymond Green now suspended, it’ll be hard for the Warriors to contain James. Which means  that Curry and Thompson will have to pick up the slack in that area. While it’s nothing these two aren’t used to, they’ve tended to struggle against the Cavaliers. However, if Curry has another night like he had on Friday night then the Warriors will have a win tonight.

The Warriors also seem to have a relative advantage with Harrison Barnes and Andre Iguodala who have come to balance this team’s defense with 10.5 boards and 6 assists combined.
