Week 10 NFL Football Betting

There are only seven weeks left in the NFL season, which means a lot of teams that had hopes of making the playoffs, can’t afford to lose too many games, which makes every game they play from here on out very important. These are a few of the games you should look out for this week.

Tennessee Titans (2-6) vs. Baltimore Ravens (5-4), Sunday, November 9, 1 PM. ET. CBS.

The Titans don’t have a very good chance to make a playoff run, and have turned to rookie Zack Mettenberger, to try and turn things around for the struggling team. He didn’t play very well in his first start against the Texans, but they are coming off a bye week, which gave him extra time to get ready for Baltimore.

The Ravens were embarrassed by their rivals the Pittsburgh Steelers, on Sunday night, they allowed Ben Roethlisberger to throw for over 300 yards, and 6 touchdowns on Sunday, and will need a better performance when they face the Titans, or they will watch their playoff hopes quickly disappear.

Game Line: The Ravens are favored to win the game by 10 points, the Over/Under is 43.5 points.

Personal Pick: The Ravens will bounce back from their loss to Pittsburgh with a big win at home.

New York Giants (3-5) vs. Seattle Seahawks (5-3), Sunday, November 9, 4:25 PM. ET. FOX

New York’s struggles continued against the Colts on Monday night, a loss to Seattle won’t eliminate them from making the playoffs, but it will make it harder for them that it already is. They need to find a way to slow down Marshawn Lynch, and take their chances with Russell Wilson in order to win this game.

The Seahawks have followed up two straight losses by winning their last two games, and can’t afford to lose any more games right now, because they trail the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West, and might need to win the division if they want to make the playoffs.

Game Line: The Seahawks are favored to win this game by 10 points. The Over/Under is 44.5 points.

Personal Pick: The Giants haven’t been very competitive in their last three games, and will lose their fourth straight game.

Chicago Bears (3-5) vs. Green Bay Packers (5-3). Sunday, November 9, 8:30 PM. ET. NBC.

The Bears have struggled with injuries and turnovers, and have lost four of their last five games. They suffered their most embarrassing loss on Sunday against the Patriots, in a game they lost 51-23, and was never close. To make matters worse, they lost defensive lineman Lamar Houston for the season, when he injured himself while celebrating a sack against the Patriots’ backup quarterback in a blowout. They will need a victory to salvage the little hopes they have of making the playoffs.

The Packers had their four game winning streak snapped against the Saints a couple of weeks ago, mostly because they couldn’t stop the run, they have had a week off to address the issue, which has been a problem for them the last couple of years, and will cost them again in the playoffs if they can’t figure out how to stop the run.

Game Line: The Packers are favored to win this game by 7.5 points, the Over/Under is 52.5 points.

Personal Pick: The Bears are going to be in for another long night against the Packers, who will win the game and sweep the season series.

Carolina Panthers (3-5-1) vs. Philadelphia Eagles (6-2), Monday, November 10, 8:30 PM. ET. ESPN.

The Carolina Panthers haven’t had much luck lately, and are still looking for their first win since October 5. Despite them not winning a game in over a month, they are still in the division race in the NFC South, which is very fortunate for them. They are also fortunate the Eagles are dealing with injuries, most notably to Nick Foles, which means Mark Sanchez will get his first start in over a year, which is something they should be able to take advantage of.

The Eagles won’t have their starting quarterback, so they will try to attack the Panthers with their running game, which will actually be a good thing for them in this game, because Carolina’s run defense isn’t very good.

Game Line: The Eagles are favored to win this game by 6 points, the Over/Under is 48 points.

Personal Pick: The Panthers have their backs against the wall, and will win this game.
