The NBA Finals of 2017 between Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors went from an unexciting, extremely predictable win for the Dubs to perhaps one of the most exciting seasons for anyone interested in basketball.
The 5th game to be played today is crucial to both sides and I will shortly tell you my prediction of how this drama will unravel.

Betting on the Cavaliers
In Game 4, the cornered Cleveland Cavaliers fought tooth and claw for survival to put up a relentlessly phenomenal show which ended with the Dubs losing 116-137.
Before this game, the Cavaliers had been risking a clean sweep as the series stood 0-3. Under LeBron James, one of the greatest players to have graced the game perhaps, the other members performed beyond amazing compared to what anyone would have expected based on their recent records suggested.
Thompson made it to double-figures, the bench contributed double the points they had in the second game and Kevin managed to score six threes. LeBron James ironically with all his fame is the underdog that rose to the occasion once again and led to the Cavs breaking the Finals record for highest score and most three-pointers in one half of a game.
Betting on the Warriors
Golden State glimpsed at the chance to create history by becoming the first team to remain undefeated in an NBA postseason before the Cavs snatched it away from under them.
The 2017 Warriors are not only one of the best Warriors team but perhaps one of the most explosively powerful team compositions ever. In the words of Lebron James himself, “"It's probably the most, most firepower I've played in my career. I played against some great teams, but I don't think no team has had this type of firepower."
The greatest catalyst in bringing the warriors to this brilliance has undoubtedly been the addition of Kevin Durant, who will probably go on to become the Most Valuable Player if the team manages to win the 5th game. However, he is not single handedly responsible for how this team is performing. Green is living up to his image of doing everything, Curry is averaging 25 points and Thompson is on fire.
At the end of the day though we have the Cavs which will baffle and dazzle, and will push all limits to stay in the game. James and Irving who have built up massive momentum especially after the last win and if there is anyone who can challenge the reign of the Warriors once again is the Cavs under these two. On the other side, we have a roster filled with staggering talent and Kevin Durant who seems to be very aware that it is his time to shine.
