NBA Games This Weekend To Bet On

While you’re waiting for March Madness, maybe you’re looking for some NBA games this weekend to bet on. Here are three.

  • What: Golden State Warriors vs San Antonio Spurs
  • When:  Saturday, March 11, 2017, 8:30 PM ET
  • Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio
  • Spread: Warriors
  • Over/Under:

Analysis: The Spurs, only two games behind the Warriors, now play host to Golden State that is without Kevin Durant. This will be a massive game. Both teams suffered recent defeats, Golden State at the hands of Boston and the Spurs falling to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The first time these two squad squared off back on Oct. 25, San Antonio rained on Kevin Durant’s debut with Golden State, winning 129-100. This time around, Kevin Durant will not be playing but Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are as deadly as ever. San Antonio though, is a tough team to beat at home where they’re 9-1 in their last 10 at AT&T Center. Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge will be ready and waiting to defend their turf and to capture the No.1 seed in the western conference.

Game Prediction: I think the Spurs will overcome and notch a win. The line isn’t out at the time of writing this article, but my bet is on San Antonio.

  • What: Brooklyn Nets vs Dallas Mavericks
  • When: Friday, March 10, 2017, 9:00 PM ET
  • Where: American Airlines Center
  • Spread: Dallas -10
  • Over/Under: 212

Analysis: Dallas has won five of their last six games and are 16-9 since January, making a big push for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Mavericks are now 1.5 games behind the No. 8 Denver, so they have plenty of motivation to win this game. Defeating the Nets shouldn’t be too much of a problem, especially considering they’ll be getting veteran guard  J.J. Barea back from injury. However, Brooklyn seems to have success against Dallas at home where they’ve beaten four of their last five trip there.

Game Prediction: I don’t really think the Nets will improve enough to beat Dallas at home. Notch one up to the Mavericks.

  • What: Denver Nuggets vs Boston Celtics
  • When:  Friday, March 10, 2017, 9:00 PM ET
  • Where: Pepsi Center
  • Spread: Nuggets -3
  • Over/Under: 221

Analysis: Both of these teams are practically in the playoffs with the Boston Celtics holding the second seed in the East with a 41-24 record and the Nuggets latching onto the eight seed in the Western Conference with a 29-35 record. Boston picked up huge momentum after defeating the Golden State Warriors in Oakland on Wednesday night, behind a big push in the fourth period when they outscored Golden State 27-12. Meanwhile, the Nuggets lost to the Wizards on Wednesday, 123-113, in a game where Nikola Jokic’s absence was sorely felt. Jokic did not play against the Wizard due to a bout with the flu, but is expected to play in this game.

Game Prediction: The Celtics should be pumped after beating the best team in the league and this should carry them forward against the Nuggets. The Nuggets have also lost three of their last four games at the Pepsi Center and with Jokic not fully healthy it’s not looking good for them. My bet is on Boston.
