The Sooners are in the hunt of their 10th win of the season with the college football playoff in their sights.

After losing one game, Oklahoma has gone on a 5-game win streak that was capped off with a victory over TCU last week 38-20.

The Sooners have outgained every opponent this season, and Kansas shouldn’t be too much of a problem to beat.

The Jayhawks have only won one game this season so expect them to lose this game as well.

However, they’ve been pretty good covering the spread at 3-1 when they’ve been a 24-point or more dogs.

That said, there’s no reason not to believe the Sooners will steamroll over Kansas. Rodney Anderson and Baker Mayfield will eviscerate the Jayhawks’ defense as they did in the game against TCU.

This game has the potential to turn into a blowout as the Sooners try to earn a spot in the College Football Playoff and in the Big 12 championship game. Given that Georgia and Notre Dame lost in Week 11, gives the Sooners even more reason to annihilate the Jayhawks.

Sooners vs Jayhawks Betting Trends

  • Oklahoma is 10-4 ATS in its last 14 games
  • Oklahoma is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games
  • Oklahoma is 3-6 ATS in its last 9 games on the road

The Hurricanes are just piling on the wins on an impressive 14-game win record dating from last year.

Miami defeated Notre Dame last week rather easily to a final score of 41-8; the Hurricanes jumped to an early lead that was 27-0 at the half.

Hurricanes quarterback Malik Rosier has earned his salt, leading his team’s offense masterfully as was evident in the game against Notre Dame.

The Hurricanes are rolling, beating good opponents by a total score of 69-18 over their last two games.

The Cavaliers are 6-4 after losing last week to the Cardinals 38-21. Virginia took the early lead but let it slip in the third quarter when they trailed 17-14.

This is an interesting matchup because the Cavaliers almost beat Miami earlier in this season.

Virginia could also make a run for qualifying for a bowl game for the first time in six years, so they’ll be playing with a lot of motivation.

Nevertheless, the Hurricanes won’t want to tarnish their perfect record with a loss which could jeopardize a spot in the College Football Playoff.

TCU Horned Frogs vs Texas Tech Red Raiders

  • Where: Jones AT&T Stadium
  • Spread: TCU -6.5
  • Over/Under: 57
  • Moneyline: TCU -255 vs Texas Tech +215

Last week the Horned Frogs lost to Oklahoma, which means they must win this game to make it to the Big 12 title game in Arlington, Texas.

Their next opponent after Texas Tech is Baylor, which the Red Raiders defeated in Week 11.

Though the Horned Frogs aren’t in the race for a spot in the College Football Playoff they might be able to secure playing Oklahoma for the Big 12 Championship and rain on the Sooners’ parade, ruining their chances of making the Playoff.

Texas Tech, however, has the edge with a 31-25-3 record versus TCU which makes this game interesting.

Also, Texas coach Kliff Kingsbury’s job is on the line so he’ll be pushing the team to win.

Horned Frogs vs Red Raiders Betting Trends

  • Texas Christian is 8-2 SU in its last 10 games
