NFL Week 11 Parlay Picks

Two-Team Parlay

  • Lions -3
  • Patriots -6.5

Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears

When: November 19, 2017, 1:00 PM ET
Where: Soldier Field
Spread: Lions -3
Over/Under: 40.5
Moneyline: Titans -140 vs Raiders +120

This might be the first time this year that the entire Lions’ roster is healthy enough to play. T.J. Lang appears to have recovered from a concussion and Taylor Decker is also back.

The Lions have been on a roll despite their absence and have, in fact, putting up major points on the scoreboard (30 or more in their last two games).

Having said this, I wasn’t too convinced in the Lions’ win over the Browns last week. Cleveland jumped ahead in the first quarter of that game and gave people watching it a scare.

Detroit then opened up the spigots and ended up scoring 14 points straight in the fourth quarter and turned the game into a blowout victory, but still, was the extra effort (and hair-pulling) necessary?

I doubt the Bears can keep up with the Lions’ blazing offense because they just don’t have the players for it. Nevertheless, if Chicago’s defense can help in trying to get to Matthew Stafford and force a few turnovers they might stay close.

Parlay Pick: The line is soft, even if the game is at Soldier Field, the Lions will light up the scoreboard. It’s Lions -3.

Lions vs Bears Betting Trends

  • The total has gone OVER in 4 of Detroit's last 5 games
  • The total has gone UNDER in 8 of Detroit's last 11 games on the road
  • Detroit is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games when playing Chicago
  • Chicago is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games
  • Chicago is 3-10 SU in its last 13 games
  • The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Chicago's last 9 games

New England Patriots vs Oakland Raiders

When: November 19, 2017, 4:25 PM ET
Where: Estadio Azteca
Spread: Patriots -6.5
Over/Under: 55
Moneyline: Patriots -300 vs Raiders +250

The Pats are on a roll and have won 12 consecutive games on the road, so this game shouldn’t raise too many concerns in their camp.

Brady is at the top of his game despite the naysayers saying he was slowing down. The Patriots own the NFL’s best passing offense averaging 301.6 yards through the air per game. That’s impressive.

The Raiders’ Khalil Mack will have to make it difficult for Brady, but whether or not he can is another question altogether.

Needless to say, this should give you some reason for concern if you’re a Raiders fan. Oakland is giving up 244.6 passing yards a game and doesn’t have an interception this year. Not one!

Nevertheless, the Raiders offense can keep them in the game, that’s if, Marshawn Lynch kicks into gear and Derek Carr has a good game.

Another factor which will affect both teams is the fact this game is taking place in Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. At 7,503 feet above sea level, the altitude could leave players gasping for air.

Parlay Pick: The Patriots have spent the week in Colorado Springs hoping to acclimatize to the altitude. I think the Patriots will win regardless, so I’m taking the New England -6.5

Patriots vs Raiders Betting Trends

  • New England is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games
  • New England is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games
  • The total has gone OVER in 9 of New England's last 13 games
  • Oakland is 1-5-1 ATS in its last 7 games
  • Oakland is 2-5 SU in its last 7 games
  • The total has gone OVER in 4 of Oakland's last 5 games

Three-Team Parlay

  • Lions -3
  • Patriots -6.5
  • Rams +2.5

Los Angeles Rams at Minnesota Vikings

When: November 19, 2017, 1:00 PM ET
Where: U.S. Bank Stadium
Spread: Vikings -2.5
Over/Under: 46
Moneyline: Vikings -140 vs Rams +120

I may be shooting myself in the foot for this pick because these two are evenly matched and it’s hard to see an edge.

Both of them have solid defenses and both have good running games, receiving corps and a good offensive line. They also have evenly matched quarterbacks leading the offense in Case Keenum for the Vikings and Jared Goff for the Rams.

The Rams have beaten their past three opponents by a combined 93 points, but the game is being played at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota which gives the Vikings the edge.

Los Angeles and Minnesota are now ranked seventh and eight best respectively in the league. Like I said, there’s no clear advantage but I believe the Rams can pull through.

Rams vs Vikings Betting Trends

  • LA Rams is 5-1 ATS in its last 6 games
  • LA Rams is 7-13-1 ATS in its last 21 games
  • LA Rams is 6-1 SU in its last 7 games
  • Minnesota is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games
  • Minnesota is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games
  • Minnesota is 5-1 ATS in its last 6 games at home

Parlay Pick: Rams +2.5
