Top NFL Week 7 ATS Picks, Odds, and Predictions

Picking ATS winners after six weeks of NFL football is tricky. Teams that started out the season as big underdogs, such as the Jets or Bears, now head into games with only a three-point spread.

However, there are still plenty of opportunities to capitalize on which you can find in my top Week 7 NFL against the spread picks.

NFL Week 7 ATS Picks

Atlanta Falcons at New England Patriots

  • When: October 22, 2017, 8:30 PM ET
  • Where: Gillette Stadium
  • Spread: Patriots -3.5
  • Over/Under: 56
  • Moneyline: Patriots -190 vs Falcons +160

Analysis: New England’s defense isn’t what it was when it won the Super Bowl last year, so Matt Ryan and Julio Jones have a better shot at doing some damage through the air. But, without Kyle Shanahan’s leadership, the Falcons are struggling. And, with a healthy Rob Gronkosky, the Patriots’ defense will make it a long night for Atlanta. I see another win for the Patriots.

Pick: Patriots -3.

New Orleans Saints at Green Bay Packers

  • When: October 22, 2017, 1:00 PM ET
  • Where: Lambeau Field
  • Spread: Saints -5.5
  • Over/Under: 47.5
  • Moneyline: Saints -220 vs Packers +180

Analysis: The NFC playoff landscape changed in an instant after Aaron Rodgers’ injury. This is to say the least about the Packers’ possibilities of making it to the Super Bowl or even to the postseason. Nevertheless, Green Bay is not without weapons of its own, including some of the best receivers in the game which should make backup QB Brett Hundley’s job easier. On the other hand, the Saints’ defense has improved tremendously and, of course, their Drew Brees led offense is always among the top offenses in the league.

Pick: The Saints will win. But, the Packers save face at Lambeau Field and will cover. Take the Packers plus the points.

Minnesota Vikings at Baltimore Ravens

  • When: October 22, 2017, 1:00 PM ET
  • Where: U.S. Bank Stadium
  • Spread: Vikings -5.5
  • Over/Under: 40
  • Moneyline: Vikings -240 vs Ravens +200

Analysis: The Vikings fought tooth and claw to gain the top spot in the NFC North and they did it with a hard-nosed defense that’s second to none. Ravens QB Joe Flacco, fresh off a loss against the Chicago Bears, will have another long night where his offense sputters and lies dead in the water. Meanwhile, Vikings QB Case Keenum will pull off another fearless performance to lead his Vikings to victory.

Pick: The Vikings will win and cover, take them at -5.5.

Carolina Panthers at Chicago Bears

  • When: October 22, 2017, 1:00 PM ET
  • Where: Soldier Field
  • Spread: Panthers -3
  • Over/Under: 40.5
  • Moneyline: Panthers -165 vs Ravens +145

Analysis: Panthers fans should be aware this is a trap game for Carolina. The Bears have silenced the naysayers, who didn’t believe they would amount to anything at the beginning of the season, by showing their grit and determination. Should the Panthers believe they can rest on their laurels, they might be in for a nasty surprise. However, Cam Newton has shown that he is back in top form and in Christian McCaffrey he has a deadly weapon in his arsenal. Carolina’s defense is probably also licking its chops at the prospect of taking a bite out of rookie Mitchell Trubisky.

Pick: Panthers win and cover.
