Bet on the Cowboys Because…

The Cowboys are having an incredible run powered by phenom rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot; last Thursday against the Redskins, the power duo once again gave a show of versatility and talent that was a sight to watch. Prescott had a relatively quiet night passing for 195 yards and one touchdown, however his movement on the field kept Washington scrambling all game long. Meanwhile, Elliot thundered to over 100 yards in total offense and three touchdowns. All in all, the Boys are averaging around 29 points and above 400 yards per game which is among the top five in the league. Dallas’ offense should be able to put another high-scoring show over the Vikings defense.

Bet on the Vikings Because…

At 6-5 the Vikings are hanging on a thread to make it to the playoffs. Minnesota lost last week to the Lions, 13-16, and are now second in the NFC North; with 40 seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter, Sam Bradford threw an interception that led to the game winning field goal from the Lions. Regardless, Bradford arguably has been the most consistent player on offense and might benefit from facing a weak Cowboys pass rush.

Adding to Minnesota's misery is their Heach Coach Mike Zimmer, who will miss this game due to emergncy eye surgery last night. A prime time game agains the best team in the league is no time for a head coach to be sidelined.

Dallas Cowboys vs Minnesota Vikings Pick

Dallas is closing out a tough 3-game stretch within the last 12 days; though they won over Baltimore and Washington they might be stretched thin against the Vikings. Prescott has amassed 2,835 passing yards, 18 touchdown passes and a 108.6 passer rating this season which beats all rookies in the league by a mile while Elliott leads the NFL with 1,199 rushing yards, the most by a rookie in franchise history.

The Cowboys should not however rest on their laurels; Sam Bradford can be dangerous at home where he’s passed for 1,261 yards (252.2 per game) with seven touchdowns and no interceptions for a 109.2 rating in five games at home with Minnesota (The Vikings are also 4-1 in home games).

That said, I see Dallas continuing on their fantastic run. Prescott and Elliot will once again put on a show.

My final score prediction is Dallas 28, Minnesota 18.
