2017 Preseason NFL Parlay Picks

This week is the final week of the NFL preseason, which means all 32 teams will play on Thursday night so all the teams will have at least a full week to recover before their season openers.

With so many games on the schedule, there are plenty of options to choose from when it comes to making your parlay picks. But as we have done in the past, we will keep our parlay picks to two and three team parlays.

Two Team Parlay Picks

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Atlanta Falcons

  • When: August 31, 2017, 7:00 PM ET
  • Where: Mercedes-Benz Stadium
  • Spread: Falcons -3
  • |Over/Under: 38

The Jaguars are 1-2 in the preseason, losing their last two games. Jacksonville is very talented, especially on the defensive side of things, but their offense still has a lot of holes to fill.

The quarterback position is still a question mark heading into the season with Blake Bortles competing with Chad Henne for the starting job.

Meanwhile, third-team NFL quarterback Brandon Allen has this last opportunity to earn his keep. So, Thursday’s 2017 preseason finale isn’t just big to Allen, it’s paramount.

The Falcons are 0-3 in the preseason, and still looking for their first win. They have faced tough competition and all their games have been close.

Atlanta has scored just 27 points over the last two games; while that’s far from this team’s output last season, it’s safe to say the starters will kick into high gear once the regular season begins.

Even though Atlanta won’t have any starters on the field, they are more talented and organized so expect them to pick up their first win here. Take the Falcons -3.

Los Angeles Rams vs Green Bay Packers

  • When: August 31, 2017, 7:00 PM ET
  • Where: Lambeau Field
  • Spread: Packers -3.5
  • |Over/Under: 38

The Rams have looked solid in the preseason with a 2-1 record. Their two wins game were over the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders, who are both Super Bowl favorites.

They suffered their first loss against the Los Angeles Chargers last week, but will try to finish the preseason on a high note.

The Rams have scored 24 or less points in each preseason game and will be giving time to the QB duo of Sean Mannion and Dan Orlovsky in this match.

Running back Malcolm Brown had a solid performance in his last game and could have earned some playing time when games count in the regular season. Receivers Josh Reynolds and Pharoh Cooper also shone in last week’s game and should play in this game as well.

The Packers are the favorites to win the NFC this season and looked impressive against the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins before losing to the Denver Broncos in their last game.

Joe Callahan and Brett Hundley will lead the offense at the quarterback position. Though GB will not play their starters once more this offense has managed to score 17 or more points in all three games.

Green Bay will also like to finish the preseason on a high note by defeating the Rams.

This will be a surprisingly close game, but the Rams will find a way to pull off the victory in the end. Take the Rams at +3.5.

Three Team Parlay Picks

Arizona Cardinals vs Denver Broncos

  • When: August 31, 2017, 9:00 PM ET
  • Where: Sports Authority Field at Mile High
  • Spread: Broncos -2.5
  • |Over/Under: 36.5

The Cardinals are 2-2 in the preseason, and have played one more game than the Broncos because they played in the Hall of Fame game that kicked off the preseason.

They have impressive wins against contenders like the Oakland Raiders and Atlanta Falcons, and close losses to the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys.

The Cardinals will love to wrap up preseason play with a two-game winning streak and carry the momentum into the regular season.

The Broncos are one of the three undefeated teams remaining, which has been surprising considering their quarterback situation.

Though Denver practically had their quarterback issues solved, naming Trevor Siemian their starter and Paxton Lynch their backup, Lynch sprained his right shoulder in Saturday’s game against Green Bay.

Evidently, this threw a wrench in the Broncos’ plans and now they have to consider further options for a backup to start the season.

That said, there are mentions that Kyle Sloter, the undrafted rookie quarterback from Northern Colorado, will play the entire game so the drama continues.

There is also a battle at the wideout position. The Broncos will likely keep five wide receivers; Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders are the starters, Bennie Fowler and Isaiah McKenzie line up as the third and fourth wide receivers. This leaves a three-way fight between Cody Latimer, Jordan Taylor and Kalif Raymond for the last position.

Both teams are very talented so I expect this to be another close game, but the home team will emerge victorious. Take the Broncos at -2.5.

Bonus 6-Team Parlay Pick

  • Falcons -3
  • Rams +3.5
  • Broncos -2.5
  • Raiders +1.5
  • Eagles +1
  • Steelers +4
