Analysis: There’s no denying that this is the Cowboys’ season with Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot being the crown jewels that power this team. In Dallas’ game against the Redskins on Thanksgiving, Prescott showed his talent and mobility; though he didn’t have a particularly high passing game, he scrambled on the ground managing to escape defenders and even running in a touchdown. Meanwhile, Elliot also had great night, managing to round up another 100+ rushing yards and two touchdowns.

The Vikings on the other hand are on the brink of disaster and barely hanging on. Though they started out the season with five wins, just last week they lost to the Lions and moved to second place in the NFC North. The Vikings offense will have to step up in this game if they want to at least keep up with Dallas; while it’s fair to say they’re up to the task, on defense they’ll definitely have problems keeping Prescott and Elliot under a lid.

Analysis: The Saints played with a mission last Sunday against the Rams, one which paid out BIG time having ended with a score of 49-21 favoring New Orleans. Drew Brees once again proved that he’s one of the league’s elite quarterbacks and torched Los Angeles with 310 passing yards and four touchdowns without a single pick. Brees will have another opportunity of having such a game when he goes up against the Lions’ pass rush that hasn’t been able to get a sack in two weeks now.

New Orleans’ ground attack is also steadily improving with Mark Ingram leading the way in the game against LA. Ingram ran for 149 yards and he also should be licking his chops of going up against the Lions’ defense that’s allowing 102 rushing yards per game.

Analysis: The Broncos are just coming off a grueling game against the Chiefs that they ended up losing 30-27 overtime. Trevor Siemian ended putting up 368 yards and three touchdowns but even this didn’t prevent Denver from losing. Regardless, the Broncos have a great shot at picking themselves back up again this Sunday against the Jaguars who are already in a tailspin of death with six straight losses.
