Betting on Juventus

Juventus was shell-shocked by Real Madrid’s onslaught. There was nothing the Italians could do to stop a punishing Cristiano Ronaldo who’s found top form before the 2018 World Cup.

Juventus will be without their top scorer, Paulo Dybala, who was sent off after being shown two yellow cards at Juventus Stadium.

As if the situation couldn’t get any worse, Gonzalo Higuain seems to struggle to beat opposing goalie Keylor Navas’ frame. Navas has earned his spot as Real Madrid’s goalkeeper and is stronger than ever.

The Italians are behind the eight with a 3-goal deficit which will be practically impossible to overcome at Santiago Bernabeu. However, though a win is unlikely Juventus has always been a difficult opponent that does not give up until the final whistle is blown.

No team has ever overturned a 3-0 home defeat in the Champions League.

Betting on Real Madrid

Real Madrid has more than a toe-hold in the Champions League semifinals after an imposing 3-0 first-leg win.

The win gives Los Blancos enough confidence heading into this game, but Coach Zinedine Zidane still remains wary fully knowing that things could turn on a dime.

"The 0-3 result will not change things for us. It's another game and what happened, happened.” Zidance commented. “It was a good game, but there is still 50 percent of the tie to be played.”

Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice, the second an incredible overhead kick before Marcelo added the third. Real looks to make an eighth consecutive last-four spot and have a possibility of becoming the UEFA Champions League winners for the third consecutive occasion.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in all six of his Champions League games against Juventus, finding the back of the net for nine goals in total. No player has scored more against a single opponent in the competition's history.

Team captain, Sergio Ramos, will not be playing in this game due to an accumulation of yellow cards. Center back Nacho Fernandez will also miss the match due to injury as might Jesus Vallejo.

Game Prediction: It’s far-fetched to believe Juventus will pass through to the next round. But, any predictions must be taken with a grain of salt especially after seeing Roma defeat Barcelona 3-0 at Camp Nou.

Without Dybala and with a struggling Gonzalo Higuain, I don’t expect too many scoring opportunities from Juventus. On the other hand, Ronaldo will always be out for blood; however, it’ll be Isco to one to find the back of the net for Madrid.

Final Score: 1-0 Real Madrid
