The Reds are the clear favorites to win this match. Atletico is a struggling team that’s been left out of the Copa del Rey and lost in the Spanish Super Cup final.
Liverpool is mostly at full strength, with Xherdan Shaqiri and Nathaniel Clyne the only absences reported.

Atletico’s season has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs. While qualifying reasonably easily for the knockout stages of this competition, Los Colchoneros have won just one of their last seven games in all competitions.
