The 2014 World Cup begins in June with Belgium listed as the favorite to win Group H. They are heavily favored to take the top spot with Russia expected to finish second. The two longshots in the group are Korea Republic and Algeria. Here is a look at the Belgium squad and World Cup predictions.

Belgium Key Players
The Belgium squad is led offensively by Eden Hazard who plays for Chelsea and they are led on defense by Vincent Kompany who plays for Manchester City. When those two players are on their game, Belgium is a tough team to beat. In addition to the top two, Belgium also has youngster Zakaria Bakkali who can score against anyone. Belgium will be missing Christian Benteke who is out due to injury. Belgium will definitely miss Benteke so they will need Romelu Lukaku to provide their scoring. Belgium will also be without their third choice goalkeeper as Koen Casteels is out due to injury.
Belgium is managed by Marc Wilmots who took over in 2012. He spent three years as an assistant before taking over. He had led Belgium from a 54th ranking to a top ten in the latest FIFA rankings.
Belgium rolled during qualifying as they went unbeaten with seven wins. Belgium qualified for the World Cup every time from 1982 to 2002 with their best finish being a fourth in 1986.

Predictions
Belgium is a good bet to win Group H and they are a live underdog to do well in the 2014 World Cup. They might even be a challenger to top teams Brazil and Spain for the title. If they had Benteke I would like their chances more but they can still make some noise and potentially make the semifinals.
