Here's a look at some of the favorites to win the 2015 Farmers Insurance Open.

Jordan Spieth

The 21 year old golfer made a big impression last season with eight top 10 finishes, and has picked off where he left off last year. He won the Hero World Challenge in December, and finished 7th last week at the Phoenix open, giving him two top 10 finishes in three events that he has played in this season. In the final round of the Phoenix open, he shot a 65, and he also had the lead here last year after two rounds, making him the tournament favorite at 11-1.

Jason Day

Day has two top 5 finishes in the three events that he has played in this year, and finished second at the tournament last year, after a 9th place finish the previous year, which shows that he enjoys playing on this golf course, making him the second favorite at 14-1.

Jimmy Walker

Walker missed the cut at the tournament last year, but he finished 8th and 4th in 2012 and 2013 respectively, so he has had some success there. He also won three tournaments last year, and has picked up where he left off, winning the Sony Open last month for the second straight year, and finishing 2nd at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. He has three top 5 finishes in six events this year, and his odds of winning the tournament is also 14-1.

Hideki Matsuyama

Matsuyama won his first tournament on the PGA Tour last year, and had four top 10 finishes. He is still looking for his first win this season, but has been impressive so far, with four top 10 finishes in eight events, which include a 3rd place finish at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions last month, and a 2nd place finish at the Phoenix Open last week. His odds of winning the tournament is listed at 20-1.

My Pick

The golf tournament odds have Jordan Spieth winning the Farmers Insurance Open, but Jimmy Walker has had a good run at the event in recent years, and has been playing very well for the past year, making him my pick to win this event.
