Betting on the Celtics?

The Celtics are well-rested after six days off, but is it enough for them to have recovered from their 115-109 loss to Philly last Thursday? The odds seem to say so, as Boston is the slight favorite to win the game by two and half points.

Boston couldn’t contain Philadelphia’s big man, Joel Embiid, who wound up scoring thirty eight points on them. Now the Celtics will have to contend with Dallas’ Kristaps Porzingis, who’s been scoring around 20 points himself over the last three games.

Though Boston will have to do without Marcus Smart, which has hampered the Celtics’ offense, they get a break in this game because Dallas star Luka Doncic is also out with an injury.

Last 3 Games Record

  • Score: 105.80
  • Halftime Score: 50.70
  • Field Goal Percentage: 44.43%
  • Rebounds: 47.10
  • 3 Point Shots: 126/323
  • Steals: 7.80

Betting on the Mavericks?

The Mavericks have had a great season that can mostly be credited to MVP candidate Luka Doncic. However, Doncic injured his ankle and will be out for a few weeks which doesn’t bode well for Dallas.

Dallas gets a break, however, because even if Doncic will not play for a few weeks, Kristaps Porzingis is getting back to form again. The Mavericks won 120-116 on Monday over the Bucks on the road, and that’s without Doncic.

Porzingis tallied 26 points and 12 rebounds, while Seth Curry also added 26 off the bench and Jalen Brunson logged a double-double filling in for Doncic in the Maverick’s win over Milwaukee.

Last 3 Games Record

  • Score: 102.80
  • Halftime Score: 50.70
  • Field Goal Percentage: 43.48%
  • Rebounds: 43.90

  • Steals: 7.20

Betting Trends

  • Boston are 8-4 ATS in their last 12 games.
  • Boston are 14-6 SU in their last 20 games.

  • Dallas are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games.
  • The total has gone OVER in 4 of Dallas' last 6 games.

Insider Prediction: The Mavericks proved they can still score even without Doncic. I believe Porzingis will step up tonight. It’s a win for Dallas.
