Betting on the Celtics?
Yesterday, Boston lost at home to San Antonio by five points. There’s no better way of getting back in the saddle than with a win over a strong team, which is what they’re looking tonight against Philadelphia.
Boston looked like they were giving the Bucks a run for their money in the conference, for a while. But, the Celtics just lost back-to-back, to the Wizards and Spurs, heading into this game and they must win not to fall too far behind.
The Celtics get a break in that the 76ers will be without star Joel Embiid, who hurt his finger in their game against OKC and is benched tonight.
Embiid’s absence is a big leg up to Boston’s chances of winning tonight, but Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum have to get back to scoring, and Jaylen Brown and Gordon Hayward need to do a better job at grabbing rebounds.

Betting on the 76ers?
The 76ers did an excellent job at stopping a four-game losing streak by winning over the Thunder on Monday night. However, Philly may have some problems to win without Embiid.
Apart from Embiid, there isn’t any other player in the lineup that’s performing all too well offensively. Philadelphia’s win over OKC was the first of five games that they reached 120 points. In the four games the 76ers lost, they only averaged 104.5 points per game.
The burden falls on Tobias Harris, Ben Simmons, and Al Horford to pick up the slack left by Embiid. The three are solid players and are putting up good numbers, but the bench will have to make an extra effort if Philadelphia wants to win.
