Bet on the Warriors

It seems like Draymond Green’s presence was sorely felt, as the Warriors were unable to win the Championship on their home court in game 5.

And, though Green will be back to play in tonight’s game another player will not. Center Andrew Bogut suffered an injury in the last game that will keep him from playing any longer this year. So, Steve Kerr will now have to adjust strategies sans Bogut (however, with Green he certainly has plenty of leeway).

Let’s not forget about Curry and Thompson as well; the reigning league MVP and his other Splash Brother can wreak havoc on defenders and provide the fuel the Warriors need to win tonight. Curry scored a conservative 25 points on Monday, but Thompson put up 37 points.

Bet on the Cavaliers

Lebron James and Kyrie Irving could not be stopped in game 5. That said, they need another performance as such if they’re going to extend the series any longer. However, history isn’t on their side as statistically no team has come back from being down 1-3 in an NBA finals series.

Both players had career performances, James made his mark to 41 points, while Irving also had 41 points on 17-for-24 from the field. However, Love was a different story altogether and only managed to put up two points in 33 minutes which drew no love from James as evidenced when he left Love’s high-five hanging at the end of game 6.

James will have a difficult night, now that Green is back in the fold. Green has made James’ life difficult and it’ll be interesting to see if James can render Green’s defense ineffective. Of course, if Love can pick up the slack this may not be much of a factor and the Cavs will have a great shot at winning.
