Bet on the Cleveland Cavaliers

Though Cleveland has been sitting pretty for most of the playoffs series, they now find themselves working to bounce back after the disheartening loss last weekend to a feisty Raptors that weren’t gonna go down without a fight.

Though LeBron James continues to put up big numbers and leading this team onward, averaging 27 points, 7 rebounds, an 7 assists against Toronto, he definitely could use his teammate’s help to get the job done. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love need to pick up their slack if they hope to defeat the Raptors on their home court. These two only combined for 16 points in game 3.

Cleveland also needs to be mindful of doing a good job underneath the rim. Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love should continue closing down the lanes to shut down Toronto’s second shot opportunities. Between the both of them, they’ve managed to grab just around 18 rebounds on average this postseason.

Bet on the Toronto Raptors

Game 3 was a crucial win for the Raptors. However, tonight’s game is perhaps even more important if they want to stay away from the dreaded 1-3 scenario that’s very hard to come back from.

Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan need another stellar performance tonight. In game 3 the pair scored 20 and 32 points respectively and ended up winning, so it’s fair to say they’ll need at least that many points a piece in tonight’s game to get through it.

Center Bismark Biyombo also came through for the Raptors in game 3, grabbing a total 26 rebounds. Needless to say, he needs to keep his focus and keep on rebounding as strongly as he has this postseason. The big man is swatting away 2 shots per game over the last five games.

This is the type of intensity the Raptors need to stick the Cavaliers with to keep them off balance.
