Top Three Week 7 College Football ATS Picks

  • The action gets going with the Red River Rivalry and continues towards an epic nightcap that includes USC vs. Notre Dame and Florida vs. LSU.

Top Three Week 7 College Football ATS Picks

Here are our top three college football ATS picks for Week 7.

USC at Notre Dame

  • When: October 12, 2019, 7:30 PM ET
  • Where: Notre Dame Stadium
  • College Football Lines: Notre Dame -10.5
  • Over/Under: 59
  • Moneyline: USC +330 vs. Notre Dame -400

Analysis: It comes down to which USC team will play. Will it be the one that faced Utah in the impressive home upset? Or will it be the one that showed up against Washington a week later when USC lost 28-14?

USC’s third-stringer quarterback, Matt Fink, led the offense in both those games. And Kedon Slovis will be back for this game so that the Trojans offense could perform well.

However, it may take more to stick up to the Irish in South Bend. Notre Dame is technically still in the race to the College Football Playoff, even if they have to win from here on out.

It may come down to how the Irish defense can slow down USC’s offense. Notre Dame’s defense ranks No. 17 nationally in passing defense and has also notched 46 tackles for loss, along with 14 sacks to boot.

Betting Trends

  • Southern California is 6-14 ATS in its last 20 games.
  • Southern California is 2-5 SU in their last seven games against Notre Dame.
  • Notre Dame is 4-1 ATS in their last five games.
  • Notre Dame is 17-2 SU in their last 19 games.

Pick: Notre Dame -10.5

Oklahoma at Texas

  • When: October 12, 2019, 12:00 PM ET
  • Where: Cotton Bowl
  • College Football Lines: Oklahoma -10.5
  • Over/Under: 75.5
  • Moneyline: Oklahoma -365 vs. Texas +305

Analysis: Oklahoma has got getting transfer quarterbacks to excel down to a science. And much like Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray, now Jalen Hurts took out all of the stops.

Hurts’ numbers are crazy good, but along with that, the Sooners’ offense, especially their running backs, is also working great. Oklahoma’s offense can go ballistic in a second, but it’ll be interesting to see how it fares against their long-hated rivals, the Texas Longhorns.

The Longhorns defense has been reasonably good at their job. If the same squad that showed up for Texas’ game against West Virginia, is playing much as well, Oklahoma better beware.

Texas’ offense isn’t all too bad, too. Quarterback Sam Ehlinger is performing well, and he’s led the offense to score an average of 41.8 points per game.

Betting Trends

  • Oklahoma is 5-2 ATS in their last seven games.
  • Oklahoma is 5-0 SU in their last five games.
  • Texas is 4-2 ATS in their last six games.
  • Texas is 5-1 SU in their last six games.

Pick: Oklahoma -10.5

Florida at LSU

  • When: October 12, 2019, 8:00 PM ET
  • Where: Tiger Stadium-LSU
  • College Football Lines: LSU -13.5
  • Over/Under: 56
  • Moneyline: Florida +415 vs. LSU -510

Analysis: I don’t think Florida call pull off another upset as they did against Auburn last week. After all, the Gators aren’t at home in The Swamp.

The Gators are heading over to another swamp, but it the Tigers’ territory. LSU’s defense is brutal, and they’ll try to stick it to Kyle Trask, who will have to be in perfect shape to get out of the game unscathed.

On the other hand, it’ll be interesting to watch LSU quarterback Joe Burrow and how he fares against Florida’s cornerbacks. Burrow is putting up high numbers behind LSU’s pass-heavy offense. And LSU’s offense is working like gangbusters to put up points.

Last week, against Utah State, Burrow put up 344 yards. And Burrow’s 1,864 yards and 22 touchdown passes ranks second in the nation. So, prepare for a great battle in the bayou.

Betting Trends

  • Florida is 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine games.
  • Florida is 10-0 SU in their last ten games.
  • Louisiana State is 6-1 ATS in its last seven games.
  • Louisiana State is 6-0 SU in their last six games.

Pick: LSU -10.5
