Why Bet on the Cowboys?

The Boys’ defense killed Seattle’s run game in their wild card weekend game. But they’re going to need an even better performance against Todd Gurley and the LA Rams’ No. 1 rushing offense in the league.

Much of the burden of winning this game is on the defense. The Cowboys' defense faces the tough job of slowing down an offense that can go at you through the air and ground like a howitzer.

The Rams not only have one of the most talented running backs in the game, but their pass-heavy offense is crushing to opposing defenses, as well.

Bottom line, if the defense can’t hold back the Rams attack then Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliot, and Amari Cooper won’t get a shot at scoring too many points.

Why Bet on the Rams?

The Rams have been one of the best teams this season. But a seven-point spread in a divisional round game is not small. There have been few teams that have covered such a number in the last decade.

Considering they hobbled into the playoffs with losses in Week 14 and 15 to the Bears and Eagles respectively, they should have good reasons to be wary of the Cowboys.

They should prepare for an all-out battle that’s going to test their weaknesses. Should their armor crack, it’s going to be a long bloody night.

Likewise, the Rams can exploit some of the Cowboys glaring weaknesses such as their secondary that’s ranked No — 22 in passing defense.

Cowboys vs. Rams Betting Trends

  • LA Rams are 1-3-2 ATS in its last six games at home

Game Prediction: Overcoming seven points is hard in a match of this caliber. The Cowboys are primed coming out of their win over Seattle. This game may surprise many, and an upset wouldn’t be too surprising despite what the spread shows.
