NFL Week 7 Latest Lines, Analysis & Game Predictions

Thursday, Oct. 18 (8:20 p.m. ET)

Broncos (-2) at Cardinals: There’s nothing to see in this game, both teams suck. Denver is on a four-game losing streak after being defeated by the Rams on Sunday, while Arizona is last in the league in more than a handful of offensive categories including not having gained 300 yards in a game as of yet. I’m going with the home advantage, it’s Cardinals for me.

Sunday, Oct. 21 (9:30 a.m. ET)

Titans vs. Chargers (-6.5) (Game in London): There’s no home-advantage for this game, both teams travel to London. Tennessee needs to kick-start its offense as it was shutout by Baltimore in a 21-0 home loss on Sunday. Tennessee has not scored a touchdown in eight straight quarters. The Chargers, on the other hand, are on a three-game winning streak capped off by a 38-14 win in Cleveland. Go Chargers.

Sunday, Oct. 21 (1 p.m. ET)

Patriots (-3) at Bears: After a big win over the Chiefs, New England could be stepping into a trap game against the Bears. Chicago had a disheartening loss, falling to Miami 31-28 in overtime as a big favorite. Nevertheless, I still like the Patriots on this one.

Bills at Colts (-6.5): The Bills are in hot water if starting quarterback Josh Allen can’t play. It was clear that relief QB Nathan Peterman wasn’t prepared to take on the job when Allen got hurt. And, don’t trust he’ll do much better against the Colts if he’s given a second shot. The option would be putting in third-stringer Derek Anderson. The Colts have lost four straight, which isn’t any better, but they’re playing at home. I’ll go with the Colts.

Lions at Dolphins (NL): The Lions should be well-rested after a bye. But, the Dolphins may have picked up some steam after upsetting the Bears despite starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill’s absence due to injury. Brock Osweiler stepped in to save the day and completed 28-of-44 passes for a career-high 380 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions. It’s the Dolphins for me.

Vikings (-3) at Jets: The Vikings looked solid in their Week 6 win over the Cardinals. Latavius Murray took it to the ground and snatched 155 yards and a touchdown in 24 tries, while Adam Thielen did it through the air grabbing 11-of-15 targets for 123 yards and a touchdown. The Jets defeated the Colts last week with Sam Darnold putting in a great performance of 24-of-30 completed passes for 280 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. It’s the Vikings for me.

Panthers at Eagles (-3.5): Not only did the Eagles put a beating on the Giants in Thursday Night Football, but they also head into this game with some added rest time. The Eagles arguably had their best game of the year, highlighted by Carson Wentz’ 26-of-36 completed passes for 278 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Carolina is coming off a sloppy loss to Washington, 23-17. Take the Eagle.

Browns at Buccaneers (-2.5): It’s Jameis Winston vs. Baker Mayfield as two former Heisman winners and No. 1 overall picks now face each other in the pros. The Browns were steamrolled by the Chargers last Sunday, while not even some rest prevented the Bucs from losing to Atlanta. But, what the heck, I give Tampa Bay a better shot at home. I’ll go with the Buccaneers.

Texans at Jaguars (-4.5): It’s a three-way tie in the AFC South. But, at least, after Sunday it’ll be broken. Houston won its third straight on Sunday, defeating the Bills. The Jaguars were crushed by the Cowboys, 40-7. Jacksonville won’t let that loss fly, they’ll do what it takes to win. Jacksonville at -4.5.

Sunday, Oct. 21 (4:05 p.m. ET)

Saints at Ravens (-2.5): Count on New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees putting himself into the 500 TD passing club in this game as he’s just one game away. Baltimore won’t make it easy for Bress if the defense plays as it did against the Titans last Sunday when they had 11 sacks. New Orleans takes it, though.

Sunday, Oct. 21 (4:25 p.m. ET)

Rams (-11) at 49ers: Without 49ers’ quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo there’s nothing much to watch out for in this game. The Rams are still undefeated after a close win in Denver on Sunday. The point spread seems high though, even if the Niners are without their QB. Take San Francisco ATS.

Cowboys at Redskins (-2.5): The Cowboys buried the Jaguars last week, but will be going on the road for this one where they’re yet to win a game. The Redskins defeated Carolina and looked solid. It’s Washington SU.

Sunday, Oct. 21 (8:20 p.m. ET)

Bengals at Chiefs (-6): This game was flexed into Sunday Night’s slot instead of the Rams vs. 49ers. It’ll be the second straight Sunday night game for the Chiefs. The Bengals are probably riled up after losing their seventh straight to the Steelers on Sunday. But, they won’t get any comfort from the Chiefs. Take Kansas City.

Monday, Oct. 22 (8:15 p.m. ET)

Giants at Falcons (-3): In terms of great Monday Night Football battles, don’t expect this one to rank among the best. The Giants have a bad offense and the Falcons only won their second game of the season Sunday against Tampa Bay. I’ll take Atlanta ATS.
