NFL Wins and Totals

The win totals best bets are tricky as not all generate a grand profit on your money. However, placed correctly, they can be quite good plays at the end of the season.

It would be best if you choose the Cardinals as their over 7.5 spread pay a decent -120. Another great shot is the Bengals, who will have Joe Burrow on their side, but they are still a fragile team, especially in their defense. Their under 5.5 games pay +120.

Cleveland disappointed last season, and there is a cloudy opinion as to how well they will do in 2020. Their O/U is as 8.5 games with either the under and over paying -115, a very tempting paycheck for a team with talent but is very dysfunctional. You can win the same if you think they'll get on track with Kevin Stefansky as their head coach.

Finally, on win totals, the Dallas Cowboys are at 10. The team ended 8-8 last season and out of the playoffs. With a new head coach, and some changes to the squad, they will try to achieve greatness, but Dallas has failed to do so in 25 years. Plus, the season hasn't even started, and one of their signings, DT Gerald McCoy has been cut after an injury left him out of season. Their under pay a good -105, so it is a tempting bet to make.

Best Bets

The reigning champs are +550 to win the Super Bowl. The Chiefs have their squad almost untouched, so their shot at winning another Lombardi with Mahomes at the helm is quite high.

The arrival of Cam Newton to the New England Patriots shifted the odds and made the Pats a +110 favorite to win the AFC East. But that's good for you. The Patriots are not the best team in the division, as the Bills are an excellent all-around team, and they are +120 to win the AFC East, and that's a wager you should make.

The San Francisco 49ers had a negative offseason as they saw many talented players leave like DeForest Buckner, Emmanuel Sanders, and Matt Breida. So an upset in their division is very tempting to play as Russell Wilson can guide the Seattle Seahawks to a +250 profit to win the NFC West.

Even though the New Orleans Saints have years of chemistry, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are +140 to win their division, and with Tom Brady under center, that's a gamble you can make if you want some cash after the regular season.

Mahomes is +350 to be a two-time MVP, Lamar Jackson is +700 to repeat as MVP. Both are probable, but if you are looking for a huge payday, consider putting your money on Kyler Murray, who is +1400.

Murray can run the football properly, throw very accurately, and have DeAndre Hopkins and Larry Fitzgerald as receivers, so he can collect yards as fluidly as it can get in the NFL. If you saw what Lamar Jackson made last year, that's what K1 can do in 2020, and has even better receivers to do so, Murray is a real candidate to win the MVP this year.

Also, Russell Wilson is as reliable as any QB to be elite, and he just came from being an MVP finalist. He is +850 in a very competitive team, so that's a number to examine carefully.

The NFL season is always full of surprises, and this one will do just that. The best league in the world approaches and makes sure to have a Super Bowl-kind celebration by winning big here at BetPhoenix!
