  • The Cowboys lost on Thanksgiving Thursday to the Bills, but they’re hoping to jump back on the saddle by winning tonight.
  • The Bears won against the Lions on Thanksgiving, but it was a hard-fought battle in which Chicago gave up 14 points to Lions’ third-string QB.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Chicago Bears

The Bears have picked up some steam, winning back-to-back games and three of their last four, and now hope to defend their home turf when the Cowboys come into town. The Boys are the favorite, but can they beat the Bears at home? Keep reading for a free pick.

  • When: December 05, 2019, 8:20 PM ET
  • Where: Soldier Field
  • NFL Latest Line: Cowboys -3
  • Over/Under: 43
  • Moneyline: Cowboys -158 vs. Bears +138

Betting on the Cowboys?

The Boys are a banged-up team that is missing key players such as linebackers Leighton Vander Esch and Sean Lee. Thankfully for Dallas, top receiver Amari Cooper will suit up for this game after having a scare in his last game.

The Cowboys are trying to keep their spot atop the NFC East. Dallas has the NFL’s top passing offense with quarterback Dak Prescott leading the offense and is averaging 25.8 points per game. The defense is also among the top 10, but the Cowboys have lost three of their last four games.

Prescott has thrown at least two scoring passes in four of his last five contests and leads the league with 3,788 yards through the air. But, Dallas could use a ground attack with running back Ezekiel Elliott, who was held under 100 yards in his last four games.

Last 3 Head-to-Head Record

  • Rush Yds.: 197.00
  • Pass Attempts: 25.00
  • Completion %: 72.00

  • Total Yds. 390.67

Betting on the Bears?

The Bears’ hopes to make the playoffs are hanging by a thread, but they picked up a win over the Lions last Thursday and have won three of their past four games.

Chicago doesn’t win pretty, but they have managed to improve their offense and get it up to the defense’s level. Over his past two games, wins over the Giants and Lions, quarterback Mitch Trubisky has completed 68.3 percent of his passes and averaged 308 pass yards per game.

However, the Bears have not been good at scoring in the first half of the game; in fact, they rank 30th in the league in the first quarter scoring at just 2.6 per contest.

If they want to win this game, Chicago will have to find a way to score early.

Insider Prediction: I don’t like either team because they both lack consistency. But, the Bears are playing at home, which gives them a bit of an edge. I’m taking Chicago plus the points.

Pick: Bears +3
