Giants vs. Eagles 2019
  • The Eagles have a 5-7 record, but they could still make the playoffs because of Dallas’ recent woes. The Cowboys have lost three straight, so the Eagles could tie for the division lead if they defeat the Giants.
  • The Giants have the second-worst record in the league and are not starting with quarterback Daniel Jones, who is out with an ankle injury.

Betting on the Giants?

The Giants’ losing streak stands at eight after they lost to the Packers last week. New York’s record this season is a dismal 2-10 overall and 4-8 ATS.

The Giants will play without starting quarterback Daniel Jones, who is out due to injury, and Eli Manning will play in his stead. Manning isn’t a stranger to being in such tight of a spot, but it’s hard to say how he’ll perform after being sidelined for such a long time.

The Giants should have all their receivers available, and this gives Manning a better shot at getting his game going. Running back Saquon Barkley also showed signs of life in last week’s game against Green Bay in picking up 19 carries for 83 yards while grabbing three catches for 32 yards.

Though New York sucks, they could stay in the game because Philadelphia has played poorly this season against terrible teams, losing to Atlanta, Detroit, and Miami.

  • Total Yds. 435.67

Betting on the Eagles?

There’s not much to boast about Carson Wentz’s performance this season. His numbers are down in all the essential measures, and they’re a far cry from where they were during his MVP-caliber season in 2017.

However, Philadelphia’s offense is now up against a dirt-poor Giants’ secondary defense that as porous as Swiss cheese. Opposing quarterbacks have completed 67.4 percent of their passes against the Giants, and they’ve allowed 28.2 points per game this season, including 28.0 points per game over their last three losses.

The thing for the Eagles is they can’t afford a lousy defense, at least, not the one that showed up in last week’s game against Miami. Dolphins’ quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick torched the Eagles’ secondary with 365 yards and three touchdowns, and that just won’t cut it even against the Giants.

Last 3 Head-to-Head Record

  • Score: 31.00
  • Rush Yds.: 114.33
  • Pass Attempts: 34.00
  • Completion %: 68.63

  • Total Yds. 353.66

Insider Prediction: Eli Manning hasn’t played since Week 2, but he’s no greenhorn and should shoulder the responsibility of leading the Eagles offense to victory.
