How To Bet Packers vs. Ravens – Odds, Picks & Preview

  • The Packers travel to Ravens in only the second preseason game between the two teams
  • Though the Packers have won two out of the last three regular season matchups over the Ravens, Baltimore is a 4-point chalk in this game.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said he has plans to suit up Aaron Rodgers and give the starting offensive crew some playing time. Though it will be a good test for the new Packers offense, the Ravens are the 4-point favorites to win at home.

Betting on the Packers?

Green Bay will try out their new-look offense, and head coach Matt LaFleur said he’s going to give Aaron Rodgers some time on the field after being sidelined for their first preseason game.

It’s LaFleur’s first time at the helm of the Packers, so it’ll be interesting to see how he gets along with Rodgers, the longtime franchise quarterback.

The Packers won their first preseason game against the Texans 28-26, but this will be their first match on the road. If the defense can do as good of a job as they did on the first game, when they forced four turnovers, it should give the offense a good shot at winning.

Betting on the Ravens?

The Ravens have revamped their defense, and it worked well in their first preseason game when they completely shut down the Jacksonville Jaguars 29-0.

Though the Jaguars didn’t put up much of a fight, Baltimore kept them to just 112 total yards in that game.

Then again, Jacksonville didn’t send out many of the team’s starters in their first game, so it was mostly a practice session for the Jaguars. Quarterback Lamar Jackson, however, did complete four of six passes for 59 yards and a touchdown in his time on the field.

Betting Trends

  • Green Bay is 6-2 ATS in their last eight games against Baltimore.
  • Green Bay is 6-2 SU in their last eight games against Baltimore.
  • Green Bay are 1-11 SU in their last 12 games on the road.

  • Baltimore is 4-1 SU in their last five games.
  • The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Baltimore's last seven games against Green Bay.

Insider Prediction: It’ll be interesting to see how the Ravens defense holds up against Rodgers. They looked good against the Jaguars, and I believe they’ll do well against Green Bay as well.
