Betting on the Patriots?

The Patriots gave Detroit a 31-3 spanking in their first game of the preseason. The win didn’t even need Tom Brady as rookie backup Jarrett Stidham took care of business, completing 14 of 24 passes for 179 yards and one score while Brian Hoyer went 14 for 147 yards and two touchdowns.

Rookies Bick Brossette and Jakobi Meyers also performed well and gave a glimpse into what to expect from them in the regular season.

The Pats’ defense also did its thing, gaining nine sacks and keeping the Lions to only 93 yards of total offense.

Betting on the Titans?

The Titans also won their first game of the preseason, doing quick work of the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend to the tune of a 27-10 win.

Marcus Mariota completed 4 of 8 passes for 24 yards, while backup QB Ryan Tannehill hit on 12 of 16 passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns. Third-stringer Logan Woodside turned in 15 of 20 passes for 138 yards and two TDs.
