After winning Super Bowl 51, oddsmakers apparently don’t expect Tom Brady and the New England Patriots to have a Super Bowl hangover when the 2017 NFL season gets underway in September.
Shortly after defeating the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in overtime in Super Bowl LI on Sunday, the Pats were installed as the early favorite to win Super Bowl 52 at +500.
A sixth Super Bowl title would tie New England with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most in NFL history.

As you can see, Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys are the only other single-digit favorite on the board to win Super Bowl 52.
While Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers fell short against New England in the AFC title tilt, the AFC North division winners are expected to contend for the Super Bowl 52 crown again next season and re the only 10-1 favorites on the board.
The Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks and now, disgraced Atlanta Falcons are all expected to challenge Dallas for the NFC title next season and all check in with identical 12-1 odds to win it Super Bowl 52.
The Denver Broncos will have a new head coach next season, but they have an elite defense and are expected to contend again because of it. The Kansas City Chiefs have been legitimate title contenders for the last few seasons under head coach Andy Reid. After coming up short in each of their playoff appearances, will K.C. be able to make the breakthrough they’ve been looking for next season? At 18-1 odds, the Chiefs are expected to contend at the very least.
Finally, Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers fell completely apart this season after losing Super Bowl 50, but oddsmakers are clearly expecting the Panthers to get back to playing solid football next season to challenge for their second Super Bowl berth in the last three years.
Still, Brady and the Patriots are favored to win consecutive Super Bowl titles next season and after watching them pull off the largest comeback in Super Bowl history, not to mention Tom Brady’s four-game suspension that kicked off the season, is there anything that ‘s impossible for Tom Brady and company?
Super Bowl LII will be held Feb. 4, 2018, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
