Betting on the Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks are going toe-to-toe with the Los Angeles Rams for the NFC West top spot.
However, last week they threw a big wrench in their plans by losing to the Washington Redskins at home, 17-14.
It was close but no cigar for the Seahawks when Russell Wilson threw a 30-yard touchdown with 1:30 left on the clock which looked like a win that turned into a loss with a Redskins drive that ended with a game-winning touchdown of their own.
Wilson did what he could in the losing effort, passing for 297 yards, two touchdowns and 77 yards on the ground. However, he was also picked off twice in the game.
Wilson’s two interceptions were the least of the Seahawks blunders. Ultimately, what killed it for Seattle were turnovers and costly mistakes.
Though the Seahawks outgained the Redskins 437-244, they were called for 16 penalties losing 138 yards.
It didn’t help that kicker Blair Walsh also missed three field goal opportunities in the losing effort.
Seattle also paid with injuries as was the case with running back Eddie Lacy and safety Early Thomas, both of whom remain questionable for this game.

Betting on the Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals started their first week after their bye with a win over the San Francisco 49ers.
However, the win didn’t raise any eyebrows and was sloppy.
Starting quarterback Carson Palmer did not play, leaving backup Drew Stanton to lead the offense. Stanton tallied 201 passing yards and two touchdowns.
Running back Adrian Peterson led the ground attack, running for 159 on a career-high 37 carries. Peterson broke the 12,000-yard mark in this game with 130 games played in the pros.

The game also had its controversy when tackle Frostee Rucker and linebacker Haason Roddick were ejected for fighting, leaving them questionable to play in this game.
