San Lorenzo vs. Palmeiras
- When: 02/04/2019 - 4:15 PM EST
- Odds: Palmeiras +146 vs. San Lorenzo +242, Draw +196
Analysis: "The Brazilian champions are arguably in a golden era having won their second title in three seasons in December. Their impressive attack featuring Colombian international Miguel Borja and winger Dudu positions this squad among the favorites to win the Cup. San Lorenzo appears to have recuperated form and heads into this match with four wins under their belts and one victory and a draw in this competition. The Brazilians are the heavy favorites and are expected to win comfortably despite playing in the Argentinian's home pitch."
Atletico-PR vs. Boca Juniors
- When: 02/04/2019 - 7:30 PM EST
- Odds: Boca Juniors +197 vs. Atletico PR +153, Draw +222
Analysis: "Atletico Paraneaese seeks to take the lead in Group G when Argentinian giant Boca Juniors rolls into town. Boca Juniors, however, is one point ahead of Atletico in the group and hopes to capitalize on the Brazilian team’s 4-1 defeat in their State Championship. Though this is a different team than last year’s runner’s up, Boca Juniors has managed to retain and recruit enough talent to make it back to the final, and at the very least past the group stage."
Internacional de Porto Alegre vs. River Plate
- When: 03/04/2019 - 4:15 PM EST
- Odds: River Plate +198 vs. Internacional +148, Draw +217
Analysis: "The reigning champions are hungry for a back-to-back title. And, though Gonzalo Martinez is no longer in the ranks, River is still among the favorites to win a historic second time. However, River Plate’s plans haven’t gone as foreseen, so far. Two draws in two matches and an injury to its star midfielder, Juan Quintero, means River Plate’s supporting cast will have a difficult passage out of the group stage."
Flamengo vs. Penarol
- When: 3/04/2019 - 6:30 PM EST
- Odds: Penarol +730 vs. Flamengo -308, Draw: +393
Analysis: "Among other games, this seems to be the most lopsided. However, Flamengo’s new additions that include Uruguay’s midfielder Giorgian de Arrascaeta, center-back Rodrigo Caio, winger Vitinho and Brazil international Gabriel Barbosa still need to earn their salt and prove themselves by winning. Though the Brazilian squad should get past the Group stage rather easily, the expectations are high to bring the Cup home."
