NFL Betting Bonanza: Green Bay Packers vs. Denver Broncos

An epic battle is brewing and set to explode next Sunday, as two of the five undefeated teams in the NFL face off and try to keep their perfect season unscathed.

And, if you’re a die-hard football fan you’re in for a treat because having 6-0 teams competing is something that has only happened four times in NFL history.

Green Bay Packers vs Denver Broncos

When: Sunday, November 01, 2015 8:30 PM ET

Where: Sports Authority Field at Mile High

Line: Green Bay Packers -3

Total: 45.5

The Packers are on the road and on their way to Sports Authority Field to try and knock off the Denver Broncos from their perfect perch atop Mile High. And, they’re perfectly poised to do so, even more so being that the Broncos haven’t been able to defeat them since 1999.

This year, the Packers’ offense has been deadly, with Aaron Rodgers leading the attack and proving why he’s the reigning NFL MVP. Despite a lackluster performance against San Diego, when he completed just 55 percent of his passes, for 255 yards and two touchdowns, he has been able to connect with Derek Carr and Josh McCown to dismantle opposing defenses and win games.

However, they will face a stern Broncos defense that is the best in the league this year so they’ll have to be firing on all cylinders and strike early on in the game so that Denver won’t be able to catch up.

On defense, the Packers can also hold their own and because of the way Peyton Manning has been playing as of late, they’ll undoubtedly be vying for the turnover to get the ball in Rodgers’ hands.T The Packers are second in the league in the pass rush and Denvers’ offensive line will not be able to hold them back and getting to Manning.

Since we’re on the subject, this isn’t the same Peyton Manning we are all accustomed to seeing. This year he’s struggled to complete passes and he’s been prone to committing turnover after turnover, throwing a whopping 27 interception so far this year. The five time MVP has is only completing 61.6 percent of his passes for the slim 19 touchdowns.

If the Broncos have made it this far with an undefeated record, it’s been because of its defense. They’ll be carrying the burden in this game as well, in keeping the pressure on Aaron Rodgers and forcing him to turn the ball over. Denver’s defense is ranked in the top spot overall and in defense against the pass, also sporting 26 sacks and three defensive touchdowns.

Game Preview and Prediction: Despite getting a week off because of the bye week, the Broncos, and especially Manning, might fare better on offense this time around. However, if the defense doesn’t stop Rodgers, it’s going to get ugly for the Broncos. Our money is on the Packers.
