Betting on the Clippers?

The Clippers are on a two game winning streak after beating the Knicks at home on Monday night. Blake Griffin and Chris Paul combined to control the flow of the game, but five other players ended up scoring in double digits. The Clips are looking good on both sides of the court, which they’ll need against the Lakers that although took a loss against Cleveland on Sunday night, were very effective in shooting beyond the arc, hitting 40 percent of their shots. The Clippers have an open shot at lighting up the scoreboard considering the Lakers’ shoddy defense that’s ranking 28th in the league in points allowed.

Betting on the Lakers?

The Lakers almost beat the Cavaliers behind a massive effort by D’Angelo Russell that saw him score a career-high 40 points. Nevertheless, they ended with another game in the loss column and are now 20-50 this season. The Lakers are actually playing well as of late, which doesn’t reflect in their five-game losing streak. LA shot above 50 percent from the field against Cleveland, including 40.1 percent from deep, and had every one of its starters score in double figures. They’ve also improved in keeping the ball safe, only turning it over six times in that game, which is good considering they’re averaging 15 turnovers per game this season. Jordan Clarkson also returned in the game against the Cavs, which should give Russell some extra help in this game.
