What: New Orleans Saints vs Atlanta Falcons

Spread: Falcons -6.5
Moneyline: Falcons -417 vs Saints +325
Game Total: 55.5

Analysis: The Saints have already been eliminated from the playoffs but are running on a two-game winning streak with victories over Arizona and Tampa Bay and will likely seek to end the season with another win. However, the Falcons will want to pick up momentum and will not get their foot off the accelerator right before the playoffs start. The Falcons’ offense continues to play well with quarterback Matt Ryan leading the air attack and Devonta Freeman heading the ground game. This balanced attack was too much for the Saints last time around and New Orleans’ defense hasn’t improved since which means Atlanta will cut through it this time as well.

What: New England Patriots vs Miami Dolphins

Analysis: The Patriots are on a mission no matter that they’ve already secured their position in the playoffs. In their last game on Christmas Eve, New England tore through the Jets, 41-3, with no need for Tom Brady or LeGarrette Blount to even break a sweat Defense was the name of the game in that game; the D kept New York to only 39 yards of total offense along with four turnovers. The Pats are among the top five teams both on offense and defense and they’re also undefeated in seven road games this year, which means they’ll continue this trend when they face the Dolphins.

Analysis: The Buccaneers’ chances of making it to the playoffs just got worse after losing to the New Orleans Saints last weekend. However, they’re still in the hunt and at the very least they’ll want to close out the regular season with a win over the Panthers. Tampa Bay suffered against New Orleans’ high-powered offense led by Drew Brees, however Panthers’ QB Cam Newton is not playing well and might not be such a problem for the Buc’s defensive unit. Expect also Winston to attack Carolina’s pass defense that is ranked at the bottom in the league in this category.
