Betting on the Titans?

Let’s give credit where it’s due; last weekend’s victory over the Patriots was mostly because of a fantastic Derrick Henry performance that saw his rack up 204 total yards. In contrast, Tannehill finished the game with only 72 passing yards on 8 of 15 passing, an interception, and two fumbled balls.

Even if it wasn’t against the Patriots of yesteryears, the Titans were effective in keeping the Pats from converting on third down opportunities and from doing much damage in the red zone.

It’s not likely the Titans will have much luck in the passing game; the Ravens’ secondary ranks sixth against the pass, and Tannehill doesn’t have too many targets to choose from apart from Anthony Firkser and rookie wideout A.J. Brown.

Henry might not be an option either as he’s not entirely at 100% health, so don’t expect too much production from him. Henry’s almost superhuman effort in his last game most likely will take a toll on his performance.

Last 3 Game Record

  • Score: 10.00
  • Rush Yds.: 64.33
  • Pass Attempts: 23.33
  • Completion %: 64.29
  • Passing Yds. 126.67

Betting on the Ravens?

The Ravens have played lights-out this season. However, one of Baltimore’s primary weapons, running back Mark Ingram, might not have recovered fully after injuring his calf back in Week 16.

To discount Ingram’s importance to the Ravens’ ground attack is silly. Ingram accounts for around thirty percent of Baltimore’s rushing, so his return is a factor that has to be taken into account when betting this game.

The Ravens finished the regular season with a league-best 14-2 record and went on a 12-game win streak to close things out. Quarterback Lamar Jackson has been a beast this season, throwing 36 touchdown passes and rushing for 1,206 yards, a single-season quarterback rushing record.

Last 3 Head-to-Head Record

  • Rush Yds.: 115.67
  • Pass Attempts: 39.00
  • Completion %: 64.96
  • Passing Yds. 222.33
  • Total Yds. 338

Betting Trends

  • Tennessee is 6-2 ATS in their last eight games.
  • The total has gone OVER in 9 of Tennessee's last 11 games.
  • Tennessee is 6-2 SU in their last eight games.
  • Baltimore is 9-1 ATS in their last ten games.
  • Baltimore is 10-0 SU in their last ten games.
  • The total has gone UNDER in 9 of Baltimore's last 12 games against Tennessee.

Insider Prediction: I have to give it up to the Titans for knocking the Patriots off of their perch. But, the Ravens are quite another animal this season. Lamar Jackson’s abilities are, without a doubt, incredible, and he’ll lead the Ravens to the AFC Championship.

Pick: Ravens -9.5
