Betting on the Titans?

The Titans have had a hot streak that’s seen them win five of their last seven games, including a barn-burner win over the Texans in Week 17.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill took over the reins back in October and has gone 7-3 overall while averaging 259.8 pass yards per game. Tannehill has scored 22 touchdowns with only five interceptions.

Rookie wideout A.J. Brown is Tannehill’s favorite target and is averaging 100.8 yards per game with five TDs over his past six games.

Betting on the Patriots?

Though there haven’t been any telltale signs that Tom Brady is slowing down, the Patriots aren’t as unbeatable as in previous seasons. There are rumors around that Brady’s arm isn’t at 100%, so it might be a factor that affects this game’s outcome.

Receiver Julian Edelman’s health is also a concern for the Patriots as his ailing knee seems to be slowing him down. Edelman has only caught ten passes over his last three games.

Teams have figured out the Patriots’ defense, and it is no longer as dominant as it once was. New England defense's all-out blitzes don’t confuse opponents, as the Dolphins showed last week.

  • Tennessee is 5-2 ATS in their last seven games.

  • New England is 16-4 SU in their last 20 games.

Insider Prediction: The time has come for an aging Patriots team. New England is a banged-up squad right now, and I don’t think they’ll pull another Super Bowl run. I’m siding with the Titans.

Pick: Titans +5
