GROUP A: Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Lokomotiv, RB Salzburg

Current champions Bayern Munich will have an easy group stage as they come like heavy favorites. While RB Salzburg and Lokomotiv are not bad teams but they can't match Bayern's offensive power.

The second favorite has to be Atletico Madrid. Simeone's side has struggled in Europe recently after its 2016 Final appearance. But they have a solid defensive core and a revamped offense with 'Pistolero' Luis Suárez.

While RB Salzburg may complicate some parts of the games, Atleti will go through to the next round, with Bayern leading the group.

GROUP B: Real Madrid, Monchengladbach, Inter Milan, Shaktar

The 13-time UCL Champions Real Madrid will go through, but 'Los Blancos' aren't showing their best soccer, and Inter Milan comes strong as they enter their second season with Antonio Conte as their coach.

Monchengladbach and Shaktar are tough teams, don't get me wrong, but you need star power in the Champions League, and they don't have much of it.

GROUP C: Man City, Olympiacos, Ol Marseille, FC Porto

Talk about an easy group for a top candidate in the UEFA Champions League. Manchester City will cruise through this group. I see them winning the six games with ease.

The other spot to go through is the tricky one. Marseille has a very good team, but FC Porto had an outstanding transfer market that makes them a good option to be the second team in this group.

GROUP D: Liverpool, Ajax, Atalanta, Midtjylland

2019 Champions and current EPL crown holder Liverpool is one of the top favorites to win it all, and they should reign supreme in this group.

However, logic not always works. Atalanta is Europe's most prolific attack, while Ajax plays an exciting brand of soccer and has some young stars to fight for the second place against the Italian side.

GROUP E: Chelsea, Krasnodar, Rennes, Sevilla

Chelsea had an all-time great transfer window, but they will have a hard-fought battle for the group's top spot with Europa League Champion Sevilla.

Krasnodar and Rennes are mere spectators, although the French side has young talent, it's just not enough for them to compete with the other two teams.

GROUP F: Dortmund, Brugge, Lazio, Zenit

Three of the teams here are Round-Of-16 material. Dortmund does have the edge, as they are a top team. But Lazio had just achieved one of its best seasons in Serie A.

Zenit can be a sleeper team if one of the top two slips, but Brugge it's going to receive goals in bunches.

GROUP G: Barcelona, Dinamo, Ferencvaros, Juventus

Oh yes! Lionel Messi vs. Cristiano Ronaldo twice in the group stages battling to see who scores more, who tops the group, and who wins another episode of their epic rivalry.

Dinamo and Ferencvaros are just two more victims in the battle between Barcelona and Juventus to win the group and solidify themselves as a top contender.

GROUP H: PSG, Man United, RB Leipzig, Istanbul BB

Current runner-ups, PSG, will look to make it to the final once more, but they are in the Group of Death. Manchester United looks to regain their European mystique, and RB Leipzig is just fresh off a semifinal appearance in last year's edition.

Star-studded, three almost equal teams, fighting for the top spot, this is a one to watch. Still, PSG has a slight edge if they can stay fit. Oh yeah, and Istanbul BB, they're also there, but the story is not about them.

This could instantly turn into great matchups in the Round-of-16, where we can see one contender go prematurely home. At the same time, some groups are very easy to see how they'll unfold.

Manchester City and Bayern Munich will surely go first place in their groups. Liverpool, Dortmund, Real Madrid, and PSG should win their respective groups, but some stress may come around at certain times.

Other groups are just going to be absolutely mad. Chelsea and Sevilla are going to the last breath to win Group E. The same can be said between Juventus and Barcelona for Group G.
