  • Viktoria Plzen vs. Dinamo Zagreb
  • Club Brugge vs. RB Salzburg
  • Rapid Vienna vs. Inter Milan
  • Slavia Praha vs. Genk
  • Krasnodar vs. Bayer Leverkusen
  • FC Zurich vs. Napoli
  • Malmo vs. Chelsea
  • Shakhtar Donetsk vs. Eintracht
  • Frankfurt Celtic vs. Valencia
  • Stade Rennais vs. Real Betis
  • Olympiacos vs. Dynamo Kiev
  • Lazio vs. Sevilla
  • Fenerbahce vs. Zenit St. Petersburg
  • Sporting CP vs. Villarreal
  • BATE vs. Arsenal
  • Galatasaray vs. Benfica

BATE vs. Arsenal

Having finished atop Group E with relative ease, Arsenal now faces BATE Borisov in this round. The British squad is well equipped to win this competition and gain entry into next year’s Champions League competition.

However, BATE might prove to be a difficult opponent given their experience against Arsenal and other English teams albeit on the losing side of their matches.

Prediction: Arsenal wins.

Frankfurt Celtic vs. Valencia

Celtic finds itself in this round after finishing as runners-up in their group. They now face Champions League dropouts Valencia in the knockout stage which should be an exciting matchup.

Valencia has a lot of experience and talent to make it through to the next stage. Key players include Rodrigo Moreno, who should give Celtic problems up front. However, the Spanish club does need to start finding the back of the net more often as their matches in La Liga have ended in far too many draws.

Prediction: Valencia wins

Chelsea vs. Malmo

There’s no denying which team is favored to win this match. The English squad is not only expected to win this game, but also the competition.

However, Chelsea needs to dust themselves off after the 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Man City in the English Premier League. Last year, the Gunners reached the semifinals of this competition but lost to the eventual champions Atletico Madrid. This year they have a fair shot at finding themselves in the Champions League competition.

Prediction: Chelsea wins.

Lazio vs. Sevilla:

This is a complicated game for both squads. Lazio made it to the quarterfinals of this competition last year and are tied in fifth place in the Italian Serie A. But, the five-time champions Sevilla are arguably the toughest challenge to face in the tournament.

Prediction: Sevilla wins
