The week is packed with outstanding UEFA soccer with the return of the Champions and Europa Leaguecompetitions. Read on for the updated soccer betting lines and predictions on the Champions, let’s get started!

UEFA Champions League Round of 16

Roma vs. Porto: The Italian squad was steadily improving at the turn of the year, but a couple of draws at either side of a 7-1 loss to Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia quarterfinal doesn’t give much confidence as to how they’ll perform in the Champions.

Porto, on the other hand, is having a great run with a 25-game unbeaten streak in all competitions. Twenty-two of those games resulted in wins, though they’ve drawn the last two. Even with the absence of Moussa Marega and Vincent Aboubakar, Porto looks to be in top form.

Prediction: Porto wins.

Man United vs. PSG: When the draw was made back in December, PSG was pretty much a shoo-in to the next phase given Man United’s performance under Jose Mourinho. However, new coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given the British team new life, and now things are looking up. Stars Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba are back in form, and so is goalkeeper David De Gea.

PSG meanwhile is still shaky with injuries plaguing key players such as Edinson Cavani, Thomas Meunier, and Neymar Jr., who won’t play in this game.

Prediction: Manchester wins.

Tottenham vs. Dortmund: The English squad heads into this game with a big chip on its shoulders after having lost 5-1 to Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League back in 2016. The problem that Tottenham faces now is injuries to a lot of their star players, namely Harry Kane, Dele Alli, and Ben Davies.

Meanwhile, Dortmund is playing exceptionally well at the moment and is at the top of the Bundesliga table. Expect a surprise run for the German squad.

Prediction: Dortmund wins.

Ajax vs. Real Madrid: The Dutch squad might have been entertaining thoughts of defeating the three-time Champions winners when they drew them last year. But, Real Madrid has slowly but surely gotten back to its top form and is primed for a historic fourth title.

Though Ajax can hold its own even against the best in Europe, Real Madrid is a different beast altogether. With Luka Modric and Benzema picking up where Ronaldo left off, the Spanish giants should be able to get a win.

Prediction: Real Madrid wins.

Lyon vs. Barcelona: The Catalans lead Real Madrid by six points in La Liga. Magical Messi continues to impress, but somehow Barcelona is not the force they once were even with an unbeaten 10-game streak.

Lyon isn’t exactly impressive either, but they’ve shown they can stand tall against good opponents. This game may look like an easy win for Barcelona, but Lyon could be a difficult foe to beat.

Prediction: Barcelona wins.

Liverpool vs. Bayern: The German champions are not having a good season. Its aging players are not the threat they once were, and injuries may be a significant factor that cripples them even if they make it any further.

This isn’t to say that Liverpool isn’t going to troubles of their own, and it’s not doing well in the Premier League, but they're playing much better than Bayern.

Prediction: Liverpool wins.

Atletico Madrid vs. Juventus: For Juventus, everything seems to be in place for winning the Champions this year. With the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Italian squad hopes to take home the title for the first time since 1996. The only major unknown is the lack of competition in its home league which could make them fall prey to overconfidence.

Atletico is as tough as nails. Through 19 games, the Spanish squad boasted an undefeated record before a loss to Real Betis which was followed by another loss to Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. They’ll put up a good fight.

Prediction: Juventus wins.

Shalke vs. Man City: Shalke was the opponent every team was hoping to draw in the Round of 16. The German team sits in the 14th position in the Bundesliga and doesn’t seem able to get back into form.

Man City is in top form and at the top of the Premier League on goal difference. It also just crushed Chelsea on Sunday 6-0, which could herald how this game could turn out.

Prediction: Manchester City wins
