5 Top NHL Bets Of The Week

5 Top NHL Bets Of The Week

There are plenty of exciting NHL games this week, which is great if you are interested in placing some bets. In order to maximize your profit, you should be careful about selecting the teams that you want to place your money on, instead of making impulsive picks.

After going through the list of games in the NHL this week, we have come up with the top games for you to place bets on.

Tuesday, March 3

Anaheim Ducks vs Arizona Coyotes

The Ducks have the second best record in the NHL this season, and they will be trying to keep up with the Nashville Predators, who have the best record in the league. The Ducks are on a roll right now, and have won five of their last six games, so they are expected to roll over the Coyotes, who are in the middle of a nine game losing streak. The Coyotes have won two of the three games between the two teams this season, but don't stand much of a chance in this game, given their recent play. The money line for the game is -210 for the Ducks, and +175 for the Coyotes. The point spread is -1.5 for Anaheim, and the Over/Under on total goals scored 5.5.

Los Angeles Kings vs Edmonton Oilers

The Kings have lost three straight games, which actually helped to make the money line drop for this game. The defending champions had won eight straight games, before losing their past three, but two of those losses were against current playoff teams. The Kings are tied for the final Wildcard spot, and can't afford to lose games to teams like Edmonton. The Oilers have lost five of their last seven games, and haven't been consistent all season long. The series is tied at 1-1, but the Oilers have been outscored 8-4 in those two games, and are likely going to lose this game, so put your money on the Kings. The money line for this game is -210 for the Kings, and +175 for the Oilers. The point spread is -1.5 for the Kings, and the Over/Under on total goals scored is 5.

Wednesday, March 4

Ottawa Senators vs Winnipeg Jets

The Ottawa Senators lost their first game against the Jets 2-1 in a shootout, and they will be trying to even the series when they meet on Wednesday night. The Jets will likely be the favorites to win the game, based on their record, and the fact that they won the first game, but Ottawa is the team to put some money on, because they have been the more impressive of the two teams lately. The Jets are 4-4 in their last eight games, and have alternated wins and losses in their last four. The Senators are 6-2 in their last eight games, and are currently on a five game winning streak, which includes wins against the Ducks, Kings , and Sharks. Making them the smart bet in this game.

Friday, March 6

Chicago Blackhawks vs Edmonton Oilers

The Blackhawks have the fourth best record in the Western Conference, while the Oilers have the worst, so this game will likely be a one sided affair. The Oilers have lost three of their last four games, while the Blackhawks have won three of their last four games. The Oilers pulled off an upset the last time the two teams met, but expect the Blackhawks to win this game convincingly at home.

Saturday, March 7

Buffalo Sabres vs Washington Capitals

The Sabres have the worst record in the NHL, and they will be going up against one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. Despite their lack of success this year, the Sabres have played well in their last three games, winning two out of three, while the Capitals have struggled in their last three, losing two out of three. The Sabres won the first meeting between both teams, thanks in part to goalie Jhonas Enroth, stopping 43 shots. Enroth allows an average of 3.30 goals per game, so the chances of him having a similar performance are slim to none. The Capitals have also concluded one of the most impressive stretches of their season, they went 8-6 in February, but all eight wins came against the best teams in the league, so they are expected to have very little trouble with Buffalo.
