The 2022-2023 season is the Denver Broncos 53rd in the NFL and their 63rd overall, as they joined after the AFL–NFL merger. It's also their second under the leadership of general manager George Paton and first under new head coach Nathaniel Hackett. The Broncos' goal is to improve on their 7–10 record from the 2021-2022 campaign in hopes of making it to the playoffs again, for the first time since 2015, when they went all the way to win the Super Bowl. To achieve that objective, the Broncos the blockbuster trade of former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

The Broncos host their home games at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, CO, which replaced the old Mile High Stadium, where the team played from 1960 to the year 2000. The stadium is still nicknamed Mile High or New Mile High due to its predecessor and the city's elevation of 1 mile or 5,280 feet. This modern open-air venue can host up to 76,125 attendants and is also home to the Colorado Rapids MLS Soccer team and the Denver Outlaws MLL Lacrosse team.

The Denver Broncos were founded as a charter member of the American Football League in 1960 and joined the NFL in 1970 as part of the league merging. They were barely competitive during their decade run in the AFL and in their first seven years in the unified league. Their first time qualifying for the playoffs was in 1977, when they even reached Super Bowl XII. Since then, the Broncos have become one of the NFL's most successful teams, winning eight AFC Conference Titles in 1977, 1986, 1987, 1989, 1997, 1998, 2013, and 2015; and three Super Bowl championships in 1997 for Super Bowl XXXII, 1998 for Super Bowl XXXIII, and 2015 for Super Bowl 50. They also share the NFL record for most Super Bowl losses with the New England Patriots, with five.

The Broncos have eight Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrined members: Legendary quarterback John Elway, half back Floyd Little, tight end Shannon Sharpe, offensive tackle Gary Zimmerman, running back Terrell Davis, cornerback Champ Bailey, and safety Steve Atwater, along with late club owner Pat Bowlen.

One of the most contended divisions in the league is the AFC West, where the Broncos have the misfortune to be paired with the Kansas City Chiefs (12-5), the Las Vegas Raiders (10-7), and the Los Angeles Rams (9-8) finishing all over .500 last season. While Denver's acquisition of Wilson should allow the Broncos to compete again for the division crown, they have a steep road ahead. Current lines at BetPhoenix Broncos futures odds for total wins this season are listed at 10.5 in BetPhoanys.ag.

How to Bet on the Denver Broncos

BetPhoenix.ag offers an exciting and highly lucrative way to follow and get the best Denver Broncos odds during the NFL season.

Placing your Denver Broncos bets on BetPhoenix thru the NFL football season can be a profitable and fun endeavor, particularly if you put in some time and research. This guide is just one of many helpful tools BetPhoenix offers to help you maximize your chances of winning when wagering on NFL games, from the preseason through the Super Bowl.

Denver Broncos Spreads

The points spread indicates the winning or losing margin. This is an example of a Denver Broncos Spreads line:

Team Points Spread Odds

Denver Broncos -6 -110

Seattle Seahawks +6 -110

Denver Broncos are a -6 favorite against the Seattle Seahawks. That makes the Seahawks a +6 underdog. A small spread of 5 or fewer points means that the game is expected to be a close matchup, while a large spread of 6+ points means that the favorite is expected to perform much better than the underdog.

When betting on the Broncos spreads, in this case, -6, those who wager on the favorite, in this case, the Denver Broncos, hope they win by a margin of points greater than the point spread. On the other hand, to cash in on the Seahawks Spread +6 as the underdog, the positive spread team must win or lose by a margin smaller than the six points of the spread.

· Broncos win by more than 6 points: Broncos bettors win

· Broncos win by precisely 6 points: The bet is a push, and all wagers are refunded

· Broncos win by less than 6 points: Seahawks bettors win

· Seahawks win the game: Seahawks bettors win

Denver Broncos Moneylines

The Broncos Moneylines bet is the easiest and simplest bet in sports betting. You pick which side you expect will win the game. Negative odds are for favorites and positive for underdogs. Like the spread, a negative value indicates the favorite, and a positive value indicates an underdog. The Denver Broncos Moneyline for the game is listed in BetPhoenix as follows:

Team Moneyline

Denver Broncos -275

Seattle Seahawks +225

Moneylines use American odds based on a $100 bet. The amount you win or lose varies depending on the event because the odds are adjusted based on each team's or player's skill. The larger the Moneyline numbers indicate a bigger favorite or more significant underdog in the game. Using this example, the Denver Broncos Moneyline would result as follows:

· Broncos Moneyline: If you wagered to win $100 by betting on Denver Broncos -275, you would need to risk $275.

· Seahawks Moneyline: For every $100 wagered on the Seahawks +225, you would receive $225 if Seattle wins the game.

Denver Broncos Over/Under Totals

The Broncos Totals bet is an estimated projected final score based on how we envision the game will unfold from a scoring perspective. Broncos Totals are expressed in an Over/Under set, in which you pick if you expect this result to be over or under this estimate. The total points take into account both teams' scorings. The Broncos Totals for the game are listed in as follows:

Denver Broncos vs. Seattle Seahawks

· Total: 44.5

· Over odds: -110

· Under odds: -110

For every $1.10 risked on either option, you'd win $1.

Denver Broncos Parlays

Broncos Parlays is a wager type in which two or more bets are linked together to form a single bet with a higher payout. However, for the bet to win, all selections must win.

Betphoenix will increase your Denver Broncos Parlays payout as you add more games to your Broncos parlay because winning becomes less likely as you add more teams. You can combine point spreads, moneylines, over/under, player props, and other wagers. You can choose between favorites and underdogs.

Let's say you believe the Denver Broncos Spread (-6) and the Over (44.5) will cover their spreads. You may add a couple more plays to the Broncos parlay, like the San Francisco 49ers -6.5 over the Chicago Bears and the over (38.5) on that game. You can parlay them together on a 4-team Broncos Parlay, risking $25 for a payout of about 11 times your bet instead of risking $50 to bet on each separately (and earning close to $280 if all four picks are winners).

· Broncos Spread covers, Broncos over/under covers, 49ers Spread covers, and the 49ers over/under covers. All bets cover: Win $307.08

· Broncos Spread pushes, Broncos over/under covers, 49ers spread pushes, and the 49ers over/under covers. The push is canceled, and it becomes a 3-team parlay: Win $148.95

· Broncos Spread covers, Broncos over/under doesn't cover, 49ers Spread covers, and the 49ers over/under covers. Loss: -$25

· Broncos Spread covers, Broncos over/under covers, 49ers spread doesn't cover, and the 49ers over/under covers. Loss: -$25

· Broncos Spread covers, Broncos over/under covers, 49ers Spread covers, and the 49ers over/under doesn't cover. Loss: -$25

Any lost pick within the parlay selection constitutes a loss.

Denver Broncos Teasers

Like Parlays, Denver Broncos Teasers combine separate lines but adjust the point spreads to be more in your favor. Like a parlay, you need all your lines to hit in order to win your ticket; however, you can adjust the preset point spread or total lines to lower your risk.

Broncos Teasers often start at 6 points and can go up to 6.5 and 7 points. The most common Teaser is the two team 6 points that pay the same as a regular -110 wager.

However, placing Broncos Teasers comes at a cost. Since teasers move the line so favorably in the direction of your choice, you are minimizing risk but also minimizing payout opportunities. Based on the previous example, we can tease the Broncos spread -6 and Broncos total Over 44.5, 49ers -6.5 and the 49ers Over 38.5 on a 6-point 4-team teaser would be as follows:

Denver Broncos vs. Seattle Seahawks

· Original Broncos spread -6 with a 44.5 Broncos Over/Under

· New adjusted like Broncos spread PK (Pick 'em is 0 points) with a new over 38.5 for the Broncos Over/Under

San Francisco 49ers vs. Chicago Bears

· Original 49ers spread -6.5 with a 38.5 49ers Over/Under

· New adjusted like 49ers spread -0.5 with a new over 32.5 for the 49ers Over/Under

The Broncos odds were originally a -6 points favorite against the Seahawks with a Total of 44.5. In a hypothetical case of the Broncos winning 21-20 (-1/41), the Broncos odds and Over failed to cover the original spreads but would have covered and won with the 4-team 6-point Teaser; they would cover the new PK point spread, and the over 38.5 points.

Denver Broncos Prop Bets

It's fun to bet on the outcome of Broncos games, but there are other ways to get involved. NFL Prop bets are one of the most exciting and common ways to do this. A single game or the entire season can serve as the inspiration for a prop.

Broncos Prop Bets include season-long possibilities like who will have the most rushing yards and the most touchdowns and who will be named MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, or even Super Bowl MVP.

You can access the available props for a game by clicking on the Live Lines Odds listing. There are lots of different props options to explore and choose from, including:

  1. Total Broncos Passing + Rushing + Receiving Yards (Over / Under)
  2. Will the Broncos convert a 4th down? (Yes/No)
  3. Will the Broncos score a defensive TD? (Yes/No)

The Broncos Prop bets odds can vary, and more options may be available as the season progresses. Take the time to keep checking Betphoenix.ag available props selections all year long to find what you want and get more bang for the buck on your winning bets.

These are just a few examples. NFL props can be numerous and even exceed 300 props for the Super Bowl.

Denver Broncos Futures Odds

You can obtain better odds and a greater chance of winning while reducing your risk by betting on futures, which allow you to choose winners and recipients of various NFL awards and honors in advance. The best odds on futures are typically found in the offseason before the regular season has even begun. This makes picking a winner for the Super Bowl or Most Valuable Player award before the season has even started all the more exciting.

Denver Broncos Odds To Win the AFC West

The Broncos are listed at third place to win the AFC West, narrowly trailing the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers and outpacing the Las Vegas Raiders by a good margin. While Kansas City and Los Angeles clearly have a leg up, Denver might have a longer chance in regards to its schedule, so if you're interested in the Broncos winning the division, the best time to get in is now, before they meet accessible rivals like Houston, Jacksonville, and New York early in the season.

The Broncos Odds are +250 to win the AFC West.

Denver Broncos Odds To Win the NFC Championship

Denver is listed directly alongside the Chargers as the third-best odds in the conference, only below the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. These new Broncos wield a great amount of untapped potential, but they need to show a better value before they can be considered a true contender.

The Broncos Odds are +850 to win the NFC Championship.

Denver Broncos Odds To Win the Super Bowl

The Broncos are listed in the middle of the cluster containing the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Chargers, and Baltimore Ravens. While it may seem like Denver has no chance to win the title, they could show their untapped potential and prove everyone wrong.

The Broncos Super Bowl Odds are +1600. Check out our current Super Bowl Odds.

Denver Broncos 2021-2022 Season Recap

The 2021-2022 season was the Denver Broncos' 52nd season in the NFL and the final season under Pat Bowlen's estate ownership. This also was marked as the first season in ten years in which John Elway did not serve as general manager. Elway remained president of football operations and led the hiring of new general manager George Paton.

The Denver Broncos started 3–0 against the New York Giants, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the New York Jets, which were much weaker later in the season. After that, the Broncos' performance was unforgettable, going 4–10 for the rest of the calendar, including losing their last four games. The Broncos improved their 5–11 record from the previous season but ended up missing the playoffs for a sixth consecutive season. This was their fifth straight losing season, the second-longest drought in franchise history.

The Broncos defense was rarely the issue. They ranked second best in points allowed with 18.9 points per game and ranked in the league's top ten in several categories, like total yards and passing yards. That's even with start Linebacker Von Miller, record-holder for most career sacks with the team, traded to the Rams mid-season. This poor performance resulted in head coach Vic Fangio's firing after three seasons.
