The 2022-2023 season is the New England Patriots 53rd in the NFL, their 63rd overall as they joined after the AFL–NFL merger, assigned to the AFC East division, where they have played ever since. It's their 23rd season with veteran coach Bill Belichick in command. The Patriots will attempt to improve on a record of 10-7 last season and reach the playoffs consecutively.

The team was originally founded in 1959 as the Boston Patriots, and they played their home games at various venues throughout Boston until 1971, when they moved to Foxboro Stadium in Foxborough, MA, a town about 25 miles outside Boston, where they remained for 30 years. As part of the move, the team changed its name to the New England Patriots to reflect the location change and its regional following. They moved in 2002 to the bland new Gillette Stadium, also un Foxborough, where they have played their home games for 21 years.

The Patriots have won six Super Bowls, sharing the record for most wins in history with the Pittsburgh Steelers. They also have the most Super Bowl appearances with eleven and most Super Bowl losses with five, tied with the Denver Broncos. They have also won 11 Conference Championships.

The New England Patriots never won a Super Bowl before the Bill Belichick era. They have carved its name among the league's elite since the Tom Brady duo partnership began in 2000. Up to ten teams from the Patriots' Belichick-Brady period are placed in the top 100 NFL teams of all time. Interestingly, the very top team on that list is the 2007 Patriots, who did not win the Super Bowl.

Since the end of the 2020-2021 season, several crucial changes in their roaster have occurred in all team areas. This season will be a huge test as there are questions all over this 2022 squad. Current lines at BetPhoenix Dolphins futures odds for total wins this season are listed at 8.5 in BetPhoanys.ag.

How to Bet on the New England Patriots

BetPhoenix.ag offers an exciting and highly lucrative way to follow and get the best New England Patriots odds during the NFL season.

Placing your New England Patriots bets on BetPhoenix thru the NFL football season can be a profitable and fun endeavor, particularly if you put in some time and research. This guide is just one of many helpful tools BetPhoenix offers to help you maximize your chances of winning when wagering on NFL games, from the preseason through the Super Bowl.

New England Patriots Spreads

The points spread indicates the winning or losing margin. This is an example of a New England Patriots Spreads line:

Team Points Spread Odds

Miami Dolphins -3 -110

New England Patriots +3 -110

The Miami Dolphins are a -3 favorite against the New England Patriots. That makes the Patriots a +3 underdog. A small spread of 5 or fewer points means that the game is expected to be a close matchup, while a large spread of 6+ points means that the favorite is expected to perform much better than the underdog.

When betting on the New England Patriots spreads, in this case, +3, those who wager on the underdog, in this case, the New England Patriots, hope they win, or lose by a margin of points smaller than the point spread. On the other hand, to cash in on the Miami Dolphins Spread -3 as the favorite, the negative spread team must win by a margin greater than the three points of the spread.

· Dolphins win by 4 points or more: Dolphins bettors win

· Dolphins win by precisely 3 points: The bet is a push, and all wagers are refunded

· Dolphins win by 2 or fewer points: Patriots bettors win

· Patriots win the game: Patriots bettors win

New England Patriots Moneylines

The New England Patriots Moneylines bet is the easiest and simplest bet in sports betting. You pick which side you expect will win the game. Negative odds are for favorites and positive for underdogs. Like the spread, a negative value indicates the choice, and a positive value indicates an underdog. The Patriots Moneyline for the game are listed as follows:

Team Moneyline

Miami Dolphins -165

New England Patriots +140

Moneylines use American odds based on a $100 bet. The amount you win or lose varies depending on the event because the odds are adjusted based on each team's or player's skill. The larger the Moneyline numbers indicate a bigger favorite or more significant underdog in the game. Using this example, the Patriots Moneyline would result as follows:

· Patriots Moneyline: For every $100 wagered on the Patriots +140, you would receive $140 if New England wins the game.

· Dolphins Moneyline: If you wagered to win $100 by betting on the Miami Dolphins -165, you would need to risk $165.

New England Patriots Over/Under Totals

The New England Patriots Totals bet is an estimated projected final score based on how we envision the game will unfold from a scoring perspective. Patriots Totals are expressed in an Over/Under set, in which you pick if you expect this result to be over or under this estimate. The total points take into account both teams' scorings. The Patriots Over/Under Totals are listed in BetPhoenix as follows:

Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots

· Total: 46.5

· Over odds: -110

· Under odds: -110

For every $1.10 risked on either option, you'd win $1.

New England Patriots Parlays

New England Patriots is a wager type in which two or more bets are linked together to form a single bet with a higher payout. However, for the bet to win, all selections must win.

Betphoenix will increase your New England Patriots Parlays payout as you add more games to your Patriots parlay because winning becomes less likely as you add more teams. You can combine point spreads, moneylines, over/under, player props, and other wagers. You can choose between favorites and underdogs.

Let's say you believe the New England Patriots Spread (+3) and the Patriots Totals Over (46.5) will cover their spreads. You may add more plays to the Patriots Parlay, like the Denver Broncos (-6.5) over the Seattle Seahawks and the Houston Texans (+7.5) over the Indianapolis Colts. You can parlay them together on a 4-team Patriots Parlay, risking $40 for a payout of about 11 times your bet instead of risking $40 to bet on each separately (and earning close to $450 if all four picks are winners).

· Patriots Spread covers, Patriots over/under covers, Broncos Spread covers, and the Texans Spread covers. All bets cover: Win $491.33

· Patriots Spread pushes, Patriots over/under covers, Broncos spread covers, and the Texans Spread covers. The push is canceled, and it becomes a 3-team parlay: Win $238.32

· Patriots Spread covers, Patriots over/under doesn't cover, Broncos Spread covers, and the Texans Spread covers. Loss: -$40

· Patriots Spread covers, Patriots over/under covers, Broncos Spread doesn't cover, and the Texans Spread covers. Loss: -$40

· Patriots Spread covers, Patriots over/under covers, Broncos Spread covers, and the Texans Spread doesn't cover. Loss: -$40

Any lost pick within the parlay selection constitutes a loss.

New England Patriots Teasers

Like Parlays, New England Patriots Teasers combine separate lines but adjust the point spreads to be more in your favor. Like a parlay, you need all your lines to hit in order to win your ticket; however, you can adjust the preset point spread or total lines to lower your risk.

New England Patriots Teasers often start at 6 points and can go up to 6.5 and 7 points. The most common Teaser is the two team 6 points that pay the same as a regular -110 wager.

However, placing New England Patriots Teasers comes at a cost. Since teasers move the line so favorably in the direction of your choice, you are minimizing risk but also minimizing payout opportunities. Based on the previous example, we can tease the Patriots spread +3 and Patriots totals Over 46.5, Denver Broncos -6.5 and the Houston Texans +7.5 on a 6-point 4-team teaser would be as follows:

New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins

· Original Patriots spread +3 with a Patriots Over/Under 46.5

· New adjusted like Patriots spread +9 with a new over 40.5 for the Patriots Over/Under

Denver Broncos vs. Seattle Seahawks

· Original Broncos spread -6.5

· New adjusted like Broncos spread -0.5

Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans

· Original Texans spread +7.5

· New adjusted like Texans spread +13.5

The Patriots odds were originally a +3 points underdog against the Dolphins with a Total of 46.5. In a hypothetical case of the Dolphins winning 24-21 (-3/44), the Patriots odds and Over failed to cover the original spreads but would have covered and won with the 4-team 6-point Teaser; they would cover the new +9 point spread, and the over 40.5 points.

Note that on teasers, unlike parlays, a push is a loss.

New England Patriots Prop Bets

It's fun and entertaining to bet on the outcome of the Patriots games, but there are other ways to get involved. NFL Prop bets are one of the most exciting and common ways to do this. A single game or the entire season can serve as the inspiration for a prop.

New England Patriots Prop Bets include season-long possibilities like who will have the most rushing yards, the most touchdowns, and who will be named MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, or even Super Bowl MVP.

You can access the available props for a game by clicking on the Live Lines Odds listing. There are lots of different props options to explore and choose from, including:

  1. Patriots defense rushing Yards allowed in the game. (Over/Under)
  2. Will the total points scored in the game be odd or even? (Odd/Even)
  3. Will there be a turnover returned for a touchdown? (Yes/No)

The Patriots Prop bets odds can vary, and more options may be available as the season progresses. Take the time to keep checking Betphoenix.ag available props selections all year long to find what you want and get more bang for the buck on your winning bets.

These are just a few examples. NFL props can be numerous and even exceed 300 props for the Super Bowl.

New England Patriots Futures Odds

You can obtain better odds and a greater chance of winning while reducing your risk by betting on futures, which allow you to choose winners and recipients of various NFL awards and honors in advance. The best odds on futures are typically found in the offseason before the regular season has even begun. This makes picking a winner for the Super Bowl or Most Valuable Player award before the season has even started all the more exciting.

• Patriots Odds To Win The AFC: +1400

• Patriots Odds to win the Super Bowl: +3200

New England Patriots Odds To Win the AFC East

Based on the Betphoenix Patriots Futures odds, they are tied with the Dolphins in second place behind the Bills. The division, like the conference as a whole, has significantly improved. The Buffalo Bills are a proven team with Josh Allen at the helm. The Miami Dolphins signed wide receiver Tyreek Hill and a few other noteworthy free agents. The Jets did a great job improving their roster through the draft in recent seasons.

On the other hand, New England has lost cornerback J.C. Jackson, a pretty significant loss. They improved their offense by signing wide receiver DeVante Parker. Many crucial changes have occurred in all team areas, so this season will be a huge test for the Patriots.

The Patriots Odds are +450 to win the AFC East division.

New England Patriots Odds To Win the AFC Championship

Of all the 16 AFC teams, the Patriots have the 12th best odds. While it may seem strange initially, this doesn't feel out of place. This places them at the bottom of the middle tier, alongside the Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders, and Pittsburg Steelers, before dropping off to distant longshot territory beyond +4000. And while they might be in an extended reconstruction period, getting New England at the same price as the Raiders or Dolphins is a solid value.

The Patriots Odds are +2000 to win the AFC Championship.

New England Patriots Odds To Win the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl odds place New England in the middle of the field. Even though Tom Brady left the team a few years ago, it's strange to see Patriots Odds to Win the Super Bowl with a 35 to 1 record.

But the truth is somewhat more straightforward. The Patriots are likely to be in this position behind teams with presumed greatness at the place until we know precisely what New England has in Jones as their Quarterback.

The division is challenging and only gets more so. Six months later, the league is more complicated than it was. Although it is there for a reason, the value is still present.

The Patriots Super Bowl Odds are +3500. Check out our current Super Bowl Odds.

New England Patriots 2021-2022 Season Recap

The New England Patriots finished their season in anything but respectable fashion, despite having a decent 10-7 year. The Buffalo Bills completely outplayed and outclassed them in every way. The defense, which had regressed and suffered increasing injuries as the season progressed, chose a poor time for its worst performance of the year. Josh Allen and company presented no challenges for the Patriots, who consequently lost in the postseason for the first time in decades. A terrible way to end the season. There is no other way to put it.

On the other hand, 2021 brought about some good things for the Patriots. The three top rookies, Mac Jones, Christian Barmore, and Rhamondre Stevenson, have had outstanding first seasons. Some of their key free agents, including Matt Judon, Hunter Henry, and Kendrick Bourne, also performed well. Even though the Patriots' season ended in disappointment, this was roughly where they ought to have been with this roster.

The Patriots recent lack of youth has been one of their issues. These recent drafts indicate that it has at least somewhat improved. Jones, Barmore, and Stevenson, the trio from 2021, were undoubtedly the newest members, but Kyle Dugger, a safety in his second year, played a significant role this year as well. Lenior-pride Rhyne's saw a substantial increase in his snap percentage in year two. He also improved in terms of coverage. Dugger only allowed 32 completions for 295 yards, three touchdowns, and four interceptions.
