Basketball Betting Rules

For betting purposes, a basketball game becomes official after forty-three (43) minutes of play for pros, and thirty-five (35) minutes of play for college.

  • Games lasting under official time constitute "No Action" or "Push/Cancel" and all money is refunded.
  • Wagering on the game point spread, money line, or total (over/under) includes any overtime scoring.
  • Half-time (2nd Half) wagering includes any overtime scores. Fourth Quarter wagering does NOT include overtime scores.
  • Bets on 1st, 2nd half, and all quarters will be considered action upon completion of the period in question.
  • All games must be played on scheduled dates and sites.
  • Las Vegas Rules apply for any rules not mentioned here.
  • Player props: Player must play for action.

International Basketball Rules

  • All games must start on the scheduled date for bets to have action.
  • If play is suspended before the complete game time has been reached wagers on the event will have no action.
  • If the country/league allows a tied game, point spreads and moneyline standard rules will apply.
