The 2022-2023 season is the Baltimore Ravens' 27th in the NFL and 15th under head coach John Harbaugh. They will attempt to improve their previous season's 8–9 record.

The Baltimore Ravens were founded in 1996 after the then owner of the Cleveland Browns announced plans to move the franchise to Baltimore. After a legal battle about the move and intellectual property, a settlement was crafted between the league and the city of Cleveland. It required them to leave the Browns' history, team colors, and records in Cleveland. At the same time, the owners obtained a new franchise for Baltimore, Maryland, as an expansion team.

The Ravens played their two inaugural seasons at the Memorial Stadium, but the ground was immediately broken for a new venue after they arrived in Baltimore. In 1998 they moved to their current home, M&T Bank Stadium, initially named Ravens Stadium at Camden Yards. This bowl-style open stadium can host just over 70,000 fans and is located at Camden Yards, just south of downtown Baltimore, immediately adjacent to Oriole Park, home of the MLB's Baltimore Orioles.

Despite their initial struggles in the late 1990s, the Ravens have managed to be one of the most successful franchises since their beginnings. They qualified for the playoffs 13 times since 2000, earning six AFC North division titles (2003, 2006, 2011, 2012, 2018, and 2019), four AFC Championship game appearances (2000, 2008, 2011, and 2012), winning twice the AFC Championship (2000 and 2012), going all the way to with both times on Super Bowl XXXV and Super Bowl XLVII, making them one of two undefeated teams in multiple Super Bowls, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Their record-breaking defensive performance in the 2000 season gave them a reputation for strong defensive play. Former players inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame include middle linebacker Ray Lewis, safety Ed Reed, cornerback & safety Rod Woodson, and offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden.

Last season was wrecked by the injury of their starting quarterback Lamar Jackson, who missed five games. The Baltimore Ravens are expected to be much healthier this year. However, with some old faces gone, like wide receiver Marquise Brown, incorporating a number of promising rookies can provide them with the offensive balance needed to reclaim their previous stature. Current lines at BetPhoenix Ravens futures odds for total wins this season are listed at 9.5 in BetPhoanys.ag.

How to Bet on the Baltimore Ravens

BetPhoenix.ag offers an exciting and highly lucrative way to follow and get the best Baltimore Ravens odds during the NFL season.

Placing your Baltimore Ravens bets on BetPhoenix thru the NFL football season can be a profitable and fun endeavor, particularly if you put in some time and research. This guide is just one of many helpful tools BetPhoenix offers to help you maximize your chances of winning when wagering on NFL games, from the preseason through the Super Bowl.

Baltimore Ravens Spreads

The points spread indicates the winning or losing margin. This is an example of a Baltimore Ravens Spreads line:

Team Points Spread Odds

Baltimore Ravens -6 -110

New York Jets +6 -110

Baltimore Ravens are a -6 favorite against the New York Jets. That makes the Jets a +6 underdog. A small spread of 5 or fewer points means that the game is expected to be a close matchup, while a large spread of 6+ points means that the favorite is expected to perform much better than the underdog.

When betting on the Ravens spreads, in this case, -6, those who wager on the favorite, in this case, the Baltimore Ravens, hope they win by a margin of points greater than the point spread. On the other hand, to cash in on the New York Jets +6 as the underdog, the positive spread team must win or lose by a margin smaller than the points of the spread.

· Ravens win by seven or more points: Ravens bettors win

· Ravens win by precisely 6 points: The bet is a push, and all wagers are refunded

· Ravens win by five points or less: Jets bettors win

· Jets win the game: Jets bettors win

Baltimore Ravens Moneylines

The Ravens Moneylines bet is the easiest and simplest bet in sports betting. You pick which side you expect will win the game. Negative odds are for favorites and positive for underdogs. Like the spread, a negative value indicates the choice, and a positive value indicates an underdog.

The Baltimore Ravens Moneyline is listed in BetPhoenix as follows:

Team Moneyline

Baltimore Ravens -300

New York Jets +240

Moneylines use American odds based on a $100 bet. The amount you win or lose varies depending on the event because the odds are adjusted based on each team's or player's skill. The larger the Moneyline numbers indicate a bigger favorite or more significant underdog in the game. Using this example, the Baltimore Ravens Moneyline would result as follows:

· Ravens Moneyline: If you wagered to win $100 by betting on the Ravens -300, you would need to risk $300.

· Jets Moneyline: For every $100 wagered on the Jets +240, you would receive $240 if the New York Jets win the game.

Baltimore Ravens Over/Under Totals

The Ravens Totals bet is an estimated projected final score based on how we envision the game will unfold from a scoring perspective. Ravens Totals are expressed in an Over/Under set, in which you pick if you expect this result to be over or under this estimate. The total points take into account both teams' scorings. The Ravens Totals are listed in BetPhoenix as follows:

Baltimore Ravens vs. New York Jets

· Total: 44.5

· Over odds: -110

· Under odds: -110

For every $1.10 risked on either option, you'd win $1.

Baltimore Ravens Parlays

Ravens Parlays is a wager type in which two or more bets are linked together to form a single bet with a higher payout. However, for the bet to win, all selections must win.

Betphoenix will increase your Baltimore Ravens Parlays payout as you add more games to your Ravens parlay because winning becomes less likely as you add more teams. You can combine point spreads, moneylines, over/under, player props, and other wagers. You can choose between favorites and underdogs.

Let's say you believe the Baltimore Ravens Spread (-6) and the Over (44.5) will cover their spreads. You may add a couple more plays to the Ravens parlay, like Dallas Cowboys +2.5 over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Over (49.5) on that game. You can parlay them together on a 4-team Ravens Parlay, risking $50 for a payout of about 10x times your bet instead of risking $50 to bet on each separately (and earning over to $560 if all four picks are winners).

· Ravens Spread covers, Ravens over/under covers, Cowboys Spread covers, and the Cowboys over/under covers. All bets cover: Win $614.17

· Ravens Spread pushes, Ravens over/under covers, Cowboys Spread covers, and the Cowboys over/under covers. The push is canceled, and it becomes a 3-team parlay: Win $297.90

· Ravens Spread covers, Ravens over/under doesn't cover, Cowboys Spread covers, and the Cowboys over/under covers. Loss: -$50

· Ravens Spread covers, Ravens over/under covers, Cowboys Spread doesn't cover, and the Cowboys over/under covers. Loss: -$50

· Ravens Spread covers, Ravens over/under covers, Cowboys Spread covers, and the Cowboys over/under doesn't cover. Loss: -$50

Any lost pick within the parlay selection constitutes a loss.

Baltimore Ravens Teasers

Like Parlays, Baltimore Ravens Teasers combine separate lines but adjust the point spreads to be more in your favor. Like a parlay, you need all your lines to hit in order to win your ticket; however, you can adjust the preset point spread or total lines to lower your risk.

Ravens Teasers often start at 6 points and can go up to 6.5 and 7 points. The most common Teaser is the two team 6 points that pay the same as a regular -110 wager.

However, placing Ravens Teasers comes at a cost. Since teasers move the line so favorably in the direction of your choice, you are minimizing risk but also minimizing payout opportunities. Based on the previous example, we can tease the Ravens spread -6 and Ravens total Over 44.5, the Cowboys spread +2.5 and the Cowboys Over 49.5 on a 7-point 4-team Ravens teaser would be as follows:

Baltimore Ravens vs. New York Jets

· Original Ravens spread -6 with a 44.5 Ravens Over/Under

· New adjusted teased Ravens spread +1 with a new over 37.5 for the Ravens Over/Under

Dallas Cowboys vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

· Original Cowboys spread +2.5 with a 49.5 Cowboys Over/Under

· New adjusted teased Cowboys +9.5 with a new over 42.5 for the Cowboys Over/Under

The Ravens odds were originally a -6 points favorite against the Jets, with a Ravens Totals of 44.5. In a hypothetical case of the Ravens winning the game 24-20 (-4/44), the Ravens odds and Over failed to cover the original spreads but would have covered and won with the 4-team 7-point Teaser; they would cover the new +1 point spread, and the over 37.5 points.

Note that on teasers, unlike parlays, a push is a loss.

Baltimore Ravens Prop Bets

It's fun and entertaining to bet on the outcome of Ravens' games, but there are other ways to get involved. NFL Prop bets are one of the most exciting and common ways to do this. A single game or the entire season can serve as the inspiration for a prop.

Ravens Prop Bets include season-long possibilities like who will have the most rushing yards and the most touchdowns and who will be named MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, or even Super Bowl MVP. You can access the available props for a game by clicking on the Live Lines Odds listing. There are lots of different props options to explore and choose from, including:

1. Which team will score the longest field goal? (Ravens/Panthers)

2. Will there be a kick or punt return TD? (Yes/No)

3. Will someone score in the first 5 minutes? (Yes/No)

The Ravens Prop bets odds can vary, and more options may be available as the season progresses. So take the time to keep checking Betphoenix.ag available props selections all year long to find what you want and get more bang for the buck on your winning bets.

These are just a few examples. NFL props can be numerous and even exceed 300 props for the Super Bowl.

The best odds on futures are typically found in the offseason before the regular season has even begun. This makes picking a winner for the Super Bowl or Most Valuable Player award before the season has even started all the more exciting.

Baltimore Ravens 2021-2022 Season Recap

The 2021-2022 season was the Baltimore Ravens 26th season in the NFL and 14th under head coach John Harbaugh.

Despite showing a perfect preseason and starting the regular season with an 8–3 record, the Ravens ended the season with a brutal 0-6 losing streak, for a heartbreaking late-season collapse, ending with an 8-9 record and failed to match their 11–5 record from the previous season. This was their first losing season since 2015 and their first last place in the AFC North since 2007, losing all playoff hopes after a week 18 loss to the Steelers.

The Ravens suffered injuries from many key players throughout the season, including running backs J. K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards, linebacker L. J. Fort, and cornerback Marcus Peters, all to season-ending injuries before the regular season had even started. Also, during the season, as they lost quarterback Lamar Jackson for the last four games, offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley, cornerback Marlon Humphrey, defensive end Derek Wolfe, free safety DeShon Elliott, plus several others. The Ravens closed the season with 19 players on the injured list.

Several records were achieved or broken by the Baltimore Ravens this season. Their start was perfect; they claimed the record for consecutive preseason wins with 20. In their week 3 victory against the Detroit Lions, their placekicker Justin Tucker broke the record for the longest field goal, kicking a 66-yard game-winning field goal as time expired. The following week the Ravens tied the Steelers' record for most consecutive games rushing 100+ yards with 43.
