The upcoming 2022-2023 season will be the Los Angeles Rams' 85th in the National Football League and their 56th in the City of Los Angeles.

It will also be their sixth under head coach Sean McVay, eleventh under general manager Les Snead, and the third playing their home games at SoFi Stadium.

The reigning World Champion, Los Angeles Rams, return with nearly their entire Super Bowl roster. Matthew Stafford returns as their Quarterback after being given a much-deserved contract extension, and Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp is expected to repeat a record-breaking season. They have also significantly improved their squad by signing All-Pro Line Backer Bobby Wagner and Pro-Bowl Wide Receiver Allen Robinson. On the downside, part of the coaching staff and a couple of big-name players like Odell Beckham, Jr. and Von Miller have left the Rams this offseason.

The beautiful SoFi Stadium is a 70,000-seat state-of-the-art complex in Inglewood, CA, occupying the former Hollywood Park Racetrack grounds, just 3 miles from the Los Angeles International Airport. This fixed-roof Stadium opened in September 2020 to be home to both NFL teams in the city, the Los Angeles Chargers and The Los Angeles Rams. This venue is one of the only two stadiums currently shared by two NFL teams, along with the MetLife Stadium, which is currently shared by the New York Jets and the New York Giants

They will attempt to improve last season's 12–5 record and become the first team to repeat back to back as Super Bowl champions since the New England Patriots in 2004. The Rams enter the 2022–2023 season as the defending Super Bowl champions for the first time since 2000 when they were based in St. Louis.

However, the Los Angeles Rams face a challenging season. Even though they are the defending champions, they are not currently seen as the clear favorite according to BetPhoenix's future betting odds, which list them as one of the top contenders at +900. A demanding schedule may significantly impact the team's performance.

How to Bet on the Los Angeles Rams

Placing your Los Angeles Rams bets on BetPhoenix thru the NFL football season can be a profitable and fun endeavor, particularly if you put in some time and research.

NFL football is one of the most popular sports and is at an all-time high in terms of betting. With games, every Sunday, Monday, and Thursday, people from all over the world study the matchups, numerous trends, and statistics to gain an advantage on Football betting lines.

Los Angeles Rams Spreads

The points spread is a preset estimated margin of victory to be covered in the bet. When picking your Rams Spreads, you can take the favorite minus points or the underdog plus points. The side you select must cover the spread points of your wager to win.

Using this example, the Rams Spread would be set as follows:

Team Points Spread Odds

Buffalo Bills -2 -110

Los Angeles Rams +2 -110

In this case, if you choose to wager on the Los Angeles Rams +2 means that as an underdog, they can lose by a maximum margin of under 2 points to cover the spread and make you a winner.

Los Angeles Rams Moneylines

The Moneyline bet is the easiest and simplest bet in sports betting. You pick which side you expect will win the game. Negative odds are for favorites and positive for underdogs. The larger the Rams Moneyline numbers indicate a bigger favorite or more significant underdog in the game.

Using this example, the Rams Moneyline would be set as follows:

Team Moneyline

Buffalo Bills -130

Los Angeles Rams +120

Los Angeles Rams Over/Under Totals

The Totals bet is an estimated projected final score based on how we envision the game will unfold from a scoring perspective. Rams Totals are expressed in an Over/Under set, in which you pick if you expect this result to be over or under this estimate. The total points take into account both teams' scorings.

Using the following example, the Rams Over/Under Totals would be set as follows:

Team Totals Odds

Buffalo Bills Over 52.5 -110

Los Angeles Rams Under 52.5 -110

Los Angeles Rams Parlays

Parlays are wagers that combine multiple lines into the same bet for an enhanced payout. Even though they have a higher degree of difficulty, as you need to hit every line to win, they are very popular among NFL fans due to the increased and compounded odds.

The bet must have at least two lines to qualify as a Parlay. Parlays are fully customizable, meaning they can add lines with odds as large or small as you like. When it comes to Rams parlays, you can combine wagers in multiple ways. The most common parlays combine multiple sides from different games, such as the money line, spread, total, and many props. The multitude of NFL betting options provides an endless supply of options.

Using this example, a three lines Rams Parlay could be set as follows:

Parlay Lines Odds

 - Rams Moneyline +120

 - Rams Total OVER 52.5 vs. Bills -110

 - Patriots -1.5 Spread vs. Steelers -110

Compounded Parlay Odds +702

Los Angeles Rams Teasers

Like Parlays, Teaser bets combine separate lines but adjust the point spreads to be more in your favor. Like a parlay, you need all your lines to hit in order to win your ticket; however, you can adjust the preset point spread or total lines from sportsbooks to lower your risk level.

Rams Teasers often start at Six points and can go as high as Fifteen points. The most common Teasers are selecting two or three teams and teasing NFL lines by 6, 6.5, or 7 points.

However, Rams Teasers come at a cost. Since teasers move the line so favorably in the direction of your choice, you are minimizing risk but also minimizing payout opportunities.

Using this example, a Rams Teaser could be set as follows:

 Teaser Lines Odds

 - Rams Spread +8 vs. Chiefs -110

 - Patriots Spread +4.5 vs. Steelers -110

Los Angeles Rams Prop Bets

NFL prop bets include Game and Player Props that often pertain to individual performances. Most of these lines are not necessarily related to the game's outcome.

The most popular Rams Prop Bets you would find pertain to individual performances and are determined via the Over/Under method.

These are some examples of the most popular game and player props for an average NFL game:

  • Quarterback Over/Under Passing Yards
  • Running Back Over/Under Rushing Yards
  • Wide Receiver Over/Under Receiving Yards
  • First Touchdown Scorer
  • Anytime Touchdown Scorer

These are just a few examples. For example, NFL props available can be numerous and even exceed 300 props for the Super Bowl.

Los Angeles Rams Futures Odds

A futures bet is made on events that could happen by the end of the NFL season. One of the most popular Rams futures bets available is "Odds to win the Super Bowl," but that's just an example; and are not limited to team performance but are available for individual players' performance throughout the season.

Here are some of the most popular Rams Futures Odds bets you can make before and throughout the regular season and their current lines:

• Rams Odds to Win the NFC West Division: +140

• Rams Odds to Win The NFC: +500

• Rams Odds to Win the Super Bowl: +1100

Los Angeles Rams Odds To Win the NFC West

The Rams Odds are +140 to win the NFC West.

The Los Angeles Rams are the current favorites to win the NFC West, listed on BetPhoenix as +140 favorites, narrowly over the San Francisco 49ers at +190 and the Arizona Cardinals at +300. This season's schedule has dealt them a challenging list of matchups against the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, and neighbors Los Angeles Chargers; +140 is still great value as they do stand above the rest of their division in terms of talent and team experience.

Los Angeles Rams Odds To Win the NFC Championship

The Rams Odds are +500 to win the NFC Championship.

The Rams are listed on BetPhoenix in a deadlock with the Green Bay Packers at +500 for the second-best odds for the NFC Championship, only behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers listed at +325, which makes a great opportunity as both of these contenders have been relatively quiet this offseason, and the Rams have continued to make improvements on their squad. These odds will be constantly updated throughout the season.

Los Angeles Rams Odds To Win the Super Bowl

The Rams Super Bowl odds are +1100.

The Los Angeles Rams haven't shown any signs of breaking their booming pace; the defending champion has a realistic chance for an encore. However, the NFL has only seen eight back-to-back Super Bowl winners in history, and the last repeat winner was the 2003-04 New England Patriots. Check out our current Super Bowl Odds.

Los Angeles Rams 2021-2022 Season Recap

The 2021-2022 season was the Los Angeles Rams' 84th season in the NFL, their 55th in the City of Los Angeles, their fifth under head coach Sean McVay, and their second playing their home games at the state-of-the-art SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.

The Rams earned the NFC West Division Title with a 12-5 record, improving on the previous season's 10–6 record from the previous season, after beating the Minnesota Vikings in Week 16 and the Baltimore Ravens in Week 17, clinching their second consecutive playoff berth. Despite suffering a three-game losing streak in November, and an overtime loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 18th, the Rams won their first division title since 2018.

Their remarkable postseason started with the Rams easily defeating the Arizona Cardinals in the Wild Card round game 34–11 and knocking out the previous Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a nail-biting 30–27 victory in the divisional round.

For the NFC Championship, the Rams met with their divisional rival San Francisco 49ers, beating them 20–17, avenging their regular season sweep loss, allowing them to advance to Super Bowl LVI, to be played at home, in the SoFi Stadium, becoming the second team in the history of the league to play for the ultimate championship in their home stadium. Coincidentally, to make it to the Super Bowl in their home stadium, the Rams had to get past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the first team to accomplish the feat just a year earlier.

The Los Angeles Rams won their second Super Bowl after defeating the Cincinnati Bengals 23–20, the franchise's first title since moving to Los Angeles in 1951.
