The 2022-2023 season is the Buffalo Bills' 63rd as a Football Team, and 53rd in the NFL, as they joined after the AFL–NFL merger. It's the eighth season under Terry and Kim Pegula's ownership and sixth under general manager Brandon Beane and head coach Sean McDermott. They compete in the American Football Conference (AFC) East Division.

Named after western frontiersman Buffalo Bill, they draw much of its fanbase from Western New York. When you think of N.Y. sports, you probably think of the Yankees or the Knicks. However, the Buffalo Bills are the crowd favorite in the western part of the state and the only NFL team that actually plays their games in the state.

Highmark Stadium is a multi-use stadium that is situated in Orchard Park, NY, a suburb south of the Buffalo Metro Area, where the team plays its home games. This recently renovated open-air AstroTurf venue has a capacity of 71,870 people. Currently named after healthcare provider Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York, it's been previously called Bills Stadium, New Era Field, and Ralph Wilson Stadium, from where it takes its colloquial name 'The Ralph.'

Buffalo, one of the NFL's best-managed teams today, made the playoffs for the third consecutive season in 2021. The team would ultimately play the Chiefs for the second straight year after defeating the Patriots in the first round of the playoffs. The Bills came within a point of winning what could've been the game of the year but were defeated 42-36 in overtime. After failing to reach their Super Bowl goals once more, Beane and company will have to work on getting the team over the finish line in 2022. with that said, it's no surprise that the Bills enter as the preseason favorite to win this year's Super Bowl.

Josh Allen, the quarterback of the Buffalo Bills, is the favorite to win this year's Most Valuable Player award +500, and rightfully so, after leading Buffalo to back-to-back seasons with 11 or more victories while passing for 4,400 or more yards and 36 or more touchdowns and rushing for 420 or more yards and 6 or more touchdowns in each of those seasons.

During the offseason, the Buffalo Bills strengthened their defense by acquiring linebacker Von Miller, a three-time All-Pro selection. Miller is a premier addition to an already stacked defense that led the league in points allowed and yards allowed in the previous season (18.3 PPG, 289 YPG).

There is no such thing as a sure thing, but the Bills should be able to comfortably rank among the top contenders in the AFC this season. Current lines at BetPhoenix Bills futures odds for total wins this season is listed at 11.5 in BetPhoanys.ag.

How to Bet on the Buffalo Bills

BetPhoenix.ag offers an exciting and highly lucrative way to follow and get the best Buffalo Bills odds during the NFL season.

Placing your Buffalo Bills bets on BetPhoenix thru the NFL football season can be a profitable and fun endeavor, particularly if you put in some time and research. This guide is just one of many helpful tools BetPhoenix offers to help you maximize your chances of winning when wagering on NFL games, from the preseason through the Super Bowl.

Buffalo Bills Spreads

The points spread indicates the winning or losing margin. This is an example of a Buffalo Bills Spreads line:

Team Points Spread Odds

Buffalo Bills -2 -110

Los Angeles Rams +2 -110

The Buffalo Bills are a -2 favorite against the Los Angeles Rams. That makes the Rams a +2 underdog. A small spread of 5 or fewer points means that the game is expected to be a close matchup, while a large spread of 6+ points means that the favorite is expected to perform much better than the underdog.

When betting on the Buffalo Bills spreads, in this case, -2, those who wager on the favorite, in this case, the Buffalo Bills, hope they win by a margin of points greater than the point spread. On the other hand, to cash in on the Los Angeles Rams Spread +2 as the underdog, the positive spread team must win, or lose by a margin smaller than the three points of the spread.

· Bills win by 3 points or more: Bills bettors win

· Bills win by precisely 2 points: The bet is a push, and all wagers are refunded

· Bills win by 1 point: Rams bettors win

· Rams win the game: Rams bettors win

Buffalo Bills Moneylines

The Buffalo Bills Moneylines bet is the easiest and simplest bet in sports betting. You pick which side you expect will win the game. Negative odds are for favorites and positive for underdogs. Like the spread, a negative value indicates the favorite, and a positive value indicates an underdog. The Bills Moneyline is listed in BetPhoenix as follows:

Team Moneyline

Buffalo Bills -130

Los Angeles Rams +110

Moneylines use American odds based on a $100 bet. The amount you win or lose varies depending on the event because the odds are adjusted based on each team's or player's skill. The larger the Moneyline numbers indicate a bigger favorite or more significant underdog in the game. Using this example, the Buffalo Bills Moneyline would result as follows:

· Bills Moneyline: If you wagered to win $100 by betting on the Buffalo Bills -130, you would need to risk $130.

· Rams Moneyline: For every $100 wagered on the Rams +115, you would receive $110 if Los Angeles wins the game.

Buffalo Bills Over/Under Totals

The Buffalo Bills Totals bet is an estimated projected final score based on how we envision the game will unfold from a scoring perspective. Bills Totals are expressed in an Over/Under set, in which you pick if you expect this result to be over or under this estimate. The total points take into account both teams' scorings. The Bills Over/Under Totals are listed in BetPhoenix as follows:

Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Rams

· Total: 52.5

· Over odds: -110

· Under odds: -110

For every $1.10 risked on either option, you'd win $1.

Buffalo Bills Parlays

Buffalo Bills Parlays is a wager type in which two or more bets are linked together to form a single bet with a higher payout. However, for the bet to win, all selections must win.

Betphoenix will increase your Buffalo Bills Parlays payout as you add more games to your Bills parlay because winning becomes less likely as you add more teams. You can combine point spreads, moneylines, over/under, player props, and other wagers. You can choose between favorites and underdogs.

Let's say you believe the Buffalo Bills Spread (-2) and the Over (52.5) will cover their spreads. You may add a couple more plays to the Buffalo Bills Parlay, like the New England Patriots +3.5 over the Miami Dolphins and the over (46.5) on that game. You can parlay them together on a 4-team Bills Parlay, risking $100 for a payout of about 11 times your bet instead of risking $100 to bet on each separately (and earning close to $1100 if all four picks are winners).

· Bills Spread covers, Bills over/under covers, Patriots Spread covers, and the Patriots over/under covers. All bets cover: Win $1228.33

· Bills Spread pushes, Bills over/under covers, Patriots spread covers, and the Patriots over/under covers. The push is canceled, and it becomes a 3-team parlay: Win $595.79

· Bills Spread covers, Bills over/under doesn't cover, Patriots Spread covers, and the Patriots over/under covers. Loss: -$100

· Bills Spread covers, Bills over/under covers, Patriots spread doesn't cover, and the Patriots over/under covers. Loss: -$100

· Bills Spread covers, Bills over/under covers, Patriots Spread covers, and the Patriots over/under doesn't cover. Loss: -$100

Any lost pick within the parlay selection constitutes a loss.

Buffalo Bills Teasers

Like Parlays, Buffalo Bills Teasers combine separate lines but adjust the point spreads to be more in your favor. Like a parlay, you need all your lines to hit in order to win your ticket; however, you can adjust the preset point spread or total lines to lower your risk.

Buffalo Bills Teasers often start at 6 points and can go up to 6.5 and 7 points. The most common Teaser is the two team 6 points that pay the same as a regular -110 wager.

However, placing Buffalo Bills Teasers comes at a cost. Since teasers move the line so favorably in the direction of your choice, you are minimizing risk but also minimizing payout opportunities. Based on the previous example, we can tease the Bills spread -2 and Bills totals Over 52.5, Patriots +3.5 and the Patriots Over 46.5 on a 7-point 4-team teaser would be as follows:

Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Rams

· Original Bills spread -2 with a Bills Over/Under 52.5

· New adjusted like Bills spread +5 with a new over 45.5 for the Bills Over/Under

New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins

· Original Patriots spread -3.5 with a 46.5 Patriots Over/Under

· New adjusted like Patriots spread +3.5 with a new over 39.5 for the Patriots Over/Under

The Bills odds were originally a -2 points favorite against the Rams with a Total of 52.5. In a hypothetical case of the Bills winning 26-25 (-1/51), the Bills odds and Over failed to cover the original spreads but would have covered and won with the 4-team 7-point Teaser; they would cover the new +5 point spread, and the over 52.5 points.

Buffalo Bills Prop Bets

It's fun and entertaining to bet on the outcome of Bills games, but there are other ways to get involved. NFL Prop bets are one of the most exciting and common ways to do this. A single game or the entire season can serve as the inspiration for a prop.

Buffalo Bills Prop Bets include season-long possibilities like who will have the most rushing yards, the most touchdowns, and who will be named MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, or even Super Bowl MVP.

You can access the available props for a game by clicking on the Live Lines Odds listing. There are lots of different props options to explore and choose from, including:

  1. Rushing Touchdowns made by the Bills? (Over/Under)
  2. How many 4th down punts will the Bills make? (Over/Under)
  3. Will there be a score within the last minute of the game? (Yes/No)

The Bills Prop bets odds can vary, and more options may be available as the season progresses. Take the time to keep checking Betphoenix.ag available props selections all year long to find what you want and get more bang for the buck on your winning bets.

These are just a few examples. NFL props can be numerous and even exceed 300 props for the Super Bowl.

Buffalo Bills Futures Odds

You can obtain better odds and a greater chance of winning while reducing your risk by betting on futures, which allow you to choose winners and recipients of various NFL awards and honors in advance. The best odds on futures are typically found in the offseason before the regular season has even begun. This makes picking a winner for the Super Bowl or Most Valuable Player award before the season has even started all the more exciting.

Buffalo Bills Odds To Win the AFC East

Based on the Betphoenix Bills Futures odds, they are the heavy favorite. The vast bulk of bettors expects that Buffalo will improve this season while New England will regress, making the Bills the clear favorite to take the AFC East. The only team listed as a heavier favorite to win their division is Brady's Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-275), but the AFC East has much tougher competition than the NFC South.

The Bills Odds are -250 to win the AFC East.

Buffalo Bills Odds To Win the AFC Championship

The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs are the clear favorites to win the AFC Championship, with the Los Angeles Chargers, Dever Broncos, and Cleveland Browns trailing by a wide margin. Although we can count on Buffalo as one of the favorites, there isn't much reward for betting on them at the current line.

The Bills Odds are +275to win the AFC Championship.

Buffalo Bills Odds To Win the Super Bowl

Bills Odds to Win the Super Bowl opens as the preseason top favorite, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs close behind before facing a trio of dangerous NFC teams in the Los Angeles Rams, Green Bay Packers, and San Francisco 49ers. Buffalo Bills 2021-2022 Season Recap

After winning the AFC Championship in January, the Bills went into the 2021 season with Super Bowl hopes. They sought to win the top seed to host their playoff games in Orchard Park. However, some ugly and unexpected losses quickly derailed the team's plans. Buffalo lost to the Patriots, Jaguars, and Colts after losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the season opener. The team also suffered nail-biting losses to the Tennessee Titans and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after winning five one-score games in 2020. The team ultimately had the worst record in single-possession games in the entire NFL, finishing the regular season with an 11-6 record.

On Super Wild Card weekend, Buffalo clinched a meeting with the Patriots, its most hated rival. The team won by a score of 47-17 and moved on to the Divisional Round after scoring touchdowns on seven consecutive possessions. But the team will be left feeling guilty for the rest of the offseason after a heartbreaking loss to the Chiefs. They squandered Allen's all-time best postseason performance. Late in the contest, the star quarterback directed back-to-back touchdown drives to give his team the lead with 13 seconds left in regulation. The Bills decided to kick the ball deep rather than squib it to stop the clock, ultimately allowing Patrick Mahomes and the rest of his team to get into field goal range. Additionally, the defense displayed shocking coverage as they allowed Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce to complete two plays in a row.
