The 2022-2023 season is the Tennessee Titans' 53rd in the NFL, 63rd overall, as they joined after the AFL–NFL merger. It's also their 26th in the state of Tennessee and their fifth under head coach Mike Vrabel. They have the challenge to maintain or improve on their 12-5 record from last season and win their conference for the third time back-to-back.

Originally founded as the Houston Oilers in Houston, TX, they began to play in 1960 as a member of the American Football League. The Houston Oilers won the first two AFL championships and four division titles. The Houston Oilers made three consecutive playoff appearances from 1978 to 1980 and seven from 1987 to 1993, with Hall of Famers Earl Campbell and Warren Moon, respectively.

The Oilers relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, in 1997 but have played at the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis for one season while their new stadium was under construction. Then, low attendance forced them to move to Nashville's Vanderbilt Stadium. The team was known as the Tennessee Oilers for those two initial seasons.

Their final name change to the Titans came for the 1999 season, as they inaugurated the Adelphia Coliseum, currently known as the Nissan Stadium, where they now host their home games. This multi-purpose open-air venue has a capacity of 69,143 people and is located next to downtown Nashville, across the Cumberland River. It's also home to the TSU Tigers of college football, the Nashville SC of MLS Soccer, the Music City Bowl, and many more events and concerts throughout the year.

During their long history, the Titans played made it to the Super Bowl once in 1999, when they were defeated 23–16 by the St. Louis Rams. Under the helm of head coach Eddie George and quarterback Steve McNair, the Titans had a good amount of success during the early 2000s when they made it to the playoffs every season except one from 1999 to 2003. After that, they have only made the playoffs twice in the next thirteen years. Their luck has improved, and since 2016 the Titans have had six consecutive winning seasons, the most under the new name.

The Titans have been a pleasant surprise for the game since Mike Vrabel took over as head coach, both with their success on the field and against their quality of play. There is no doubt that the Titans will be in the playoff picture again this season. Current lines at BetPhoenix Titans futures odds for total wins this season is listed at 9.5 in BetPhoanys.ag.

How to Bet on the Tennessee Titans

BetPhoenix.ag offers an exciting and highly lucrative way to follow and get the best Tennessee Titans odds during the NFL season.

Placing your Tennessee Titans bets on BetPhoenix thru the NFL football season can be a profitable and fun endeavor, particularly if you put in some time and research. This guide is just one of many helpful tools BetPhoenix offers to help you maximize your chances of winning when wagering on NFL games, from the preseason through the Super Bowl.

Tennessee Titans Spreads

The points spread indicates the winning or losing margin. This is an example of a Tennessee Titans Spreads line:

Team Points Spread Odds

Tennessee Titans -5 -110

New York Giants +5 -110

Tennessee Titans are a -5 favorite against the New York Giants. That makes the Giants +5 underdog. A small spread of 5 or fewer points means that the game is expected to be a close matchup, while a large spread of 6+ points means that the favorite is expected to perform much better than the underdog.

When betting on the Titans spreads, in this case, -5, those who wager on the favorite, in this case, the Tennessee Titans, hope they win by a margin of points greater than the point spread. On the other hand, to cash in on the New York Giants +5 as the underdog, the positive spread team must win, or lose by a margin smaller than the points of the spread.

· Titans win by six or more points: Titans bettors win

· Titans win by precisely 5 points: The bet is a push, and all wagers are refunded

· Titans win by four points or less: Giants bettors win

· Giants win the game: Giants bettors win

Tennessee Titans Moneylines

The Titans Moneylines bet is the easiest and simplest bet in sports betting. You pick which side you expect will win the game. Negative odds are for favorites and positive for underdogs. Like the spread, a negative value indicates the choice, and a positive value indicates an underdog.

The Tennessee Titans Moneyline is listed in BetPhoenix as follows:

Team Moneyline

Tennessee Titans -250

New York Giants +200

Moneylines use American odds based on a $100 bet. The amount you win or lose varies depending on the event because the odds are adjusted based on each team's or player's skill. The larger the Moneyline numbers indicate a bigger favorite or more significant underdog in the game. Using this example, the Tennessee Titans Moneyline would result as follows:

· Titans Moneyline: If you wagered to win $100 by betting on the Titans -250, you would need to risk $250.

· Giants Moneyline: For every $100 wagered on the Giants +200, you would receive $200 if New York wins the game.

Tennessee Titans Over/Under Totals

The Titans Totals bet is an estimated projected final score based on how we envision the game will unfold from a scoring perspective. Titans Totals are expressed in an Over/Under set, in which you pick if you expect this result to be over or under this estimate. The total points take into account both teams' scorings. The Titans Totals are listed in BetPhoenix as follows:

Tennessee Titans vs. New York Giants

· Total: 44.5

· Over odds: -110

· Under odds: -110

For every $1.10 risked on either option, you'd win $1.

Tennessee Titans Parlays

Titans Parlays is a wager type in which two or more bets are linked together to form a single bet with a higher payout. However, for the bet to win, all selections must win.

Betphoenix will increase your Tennessee Titans Parlays payout as you add more games to your Titans parlay because winning becomes less likely as you add more teams. You can combine point spreads, moneylines, over/under, player props, and other wagers. You can choose between favorites and underdogs.

Let's say you believe the Tennessee Titans Spread (-4) and the Over (44.5) will cover their spreads. You may add a couple more plays to the Titans parlay, like the Baltimore Ravens -6.5 over the New York Jets and the over (44.5) on that game. You can parlay them together on a 4-team Titans Parlay, risking $25 for a payout of about 10x times your bet instead of risking $25 to bet on each separately (and earning close to $280 if all four picks are winners).

· Titans Spread covers, Titans over/under covers, Ravens Spread covers, and the Ravens over/under covers. All bets cover: Win $307.08

· Titans Spread pushes, Titans over/under covers, Ravens spread covers, and the Ravens over/under covers. The push is canceled, and it becomes a 3-team parlay: Win $148.95

· Titans Spread covers, Titans over/under doesn't cover, Ravens Spread covers, and the Ravens over/under covers. Loss: -$25

· Titans Spread covers, Titans over/under covers, Ravens spread doesn't cover, and the Ravens over/under covers. Loss: -$25

· Titans Spread covers, Titans over/under covers, Ravens Spread covers, and the Ravens over/under doesn't cover. Loss: -$25

Any lost pick within the parlay selection constitutes a loss.

Tennessee Titans Teasers

Like Parlays, Tennessee Titans Teasers combine separate lines but adjust the point spreads to be more in your favor. Like a parlay, you need all your lines to hit to win your ticket; however, you can adjust the preset point spread or total lines to lower your risk.

Titans Teasers often start at 6 points and can go up to 6.5 and 7 points. The most common Teaser is the two team 6 points that pay the same as a regular -110 wager.

However, placing Titans Teasers comes at a cost. Since teasers move the line so favorably in the direction of your choice, you are minimizing risk but also minimizing payout opportunities. Based on the previous example, we can tease the Titans spread -5 and Titans total Over 44.5, Ravens -6.5 and the Ravens Over 44.5 on a 7-point 4-team teaser would be as follows:

Tennessee Titans vs. New York Giants

· Original Titans spread -5 with a 44.5 Titans Over/Under

· New adjusted like Titans spread +2 with a new over 37.5 for the Titans Over/Under

Baltimore Ravens vs. New York Jets

· Original Ravens spread -6.5 with a 42.5 Ravens Over/Under

· New adjusted like Ravens spread +0.5 with a new over 35.5 for the Ravens Over/Under

The Titans odds were originally a -5 points underdog against the Titans Totals of 44.5. In a hypothetical case of the Titans winning 23-21 (-2/44), the Titans odds and Over failed to cover the original spreads but would have covered and won with the 4-team 7-point Teaser; they would cover the new +1 point spread, and the over 37.5 points.

Note that on teasers, unlike parlays, a push is a loss.

Tennessee Titans Prop Bets

It's fun and entertaining to bet on the outcome of Titans games, but there are other ways to get involved. NFL Prop bets are one of the most exciting and common ways to do this. A single game or the entire season can serve as the inspiration for a prop.

Titans Prop Bets include season-long possibilities like who will have the most rushing yards and the most touchdowns and who will be named MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, or even Super Bowl MVP.

You can access the available props for a game by clicking on the Live Lines Odds listing. There are lots of different props options to explore and choose from, including:

1. Titans Defensive player tackles. (Over/Under)

2. Which team will score first? (Titans/Giants)

3. Will there be a 1-yard touchdown in the game? (Yes/No)

The Titans Prop bets odds can vary, and more options may be available as the season progresses. Take the time to keep checking Betphoenix.ag available props selections all year long to find what you want and get more bang for the buck on your winning bets.

These are just a few examples. NFL props can be numerous and even exceed 300 props for the Super Bowl.

Tennessee Titans Futures Odds

You can obtain better odds and a greater chance of winning while reducing your risk by betting on futures, which allow you to choose winners and recipients of various NFL awards and honors in advance. The best odds on futures are typically found in the offseason before the regular season has even begun. This makes picking a winner for the Super Bowl or Most Valuable Player award before the season has even started all the more exciting.

• Titans Odds to Win the AFC South Division: +140

• Titans Odds To Win The NFC: +1500

• Titans Odds to Win the Super Bowl: +3000

Tennessee Titans Odds To Win the AFC South

Tennessee is listed with the second-best odds to win the division behind the Indianapolis Colts and well ahead of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans by a significant margin. There is a good chance on the table as the Titans have won back-to-back titles. While the Colts have made improvements, they don't seem enough to end the Titan's reign in this conference.

The Titans Odds are +140 to win the AFC South.

Tennessee Titans Odds To Win the AFC Championship

The Titans are listed for the ninth-best odds to win the conference, in the same group as the Miami Dolphins, Las Vegas Raiders, and New England Patriots. Tennessee has been a constant postseason contender. Even though they seem more of a regular season squad, the Titans' ceiling is higher than the rest of the teams in that department.

The Titans Odds are +1500 to win the NFC Championship.

Tennessee Titans Odds To Win the Super Bowl

The Titans are listed at the bottom of the list, which includes the genuine contenders to win this year's Super Bowl. The ranks include the Cleveland BrownsIndianapolis ColtsPhiladelphia EaglesArizona Cardinals, and Miami Dolphins.

Tennessee doesn't seem like a squad that can pull a deep playoff run, but it's tough to count them out if they continue to improve and get the most out of their key players this season.

The Titans Super Bowl Odds are +3000. Check out our current Super Bowl Odds.

Tennessee Titans 2021-2022 Season Recap

The 2021-2022 season was the Tennessee Titans' 52nd season in the NFL, their 25th in Tennessee, and fourth under coach Mike Vrabel.

The Titans sailed to another AFC South title with a 12-5 record last season, which outpaced paced the Indianapolis Colts (9-8), Houston Texans (4-13), and Jacksonville Jaguars (3-14) by a more than comfortable margin.

After a week 17 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 17, the Titans clinched the AFC South for the second consecutive season. This would be the first time that the team won their division back-to-back since the 1960 and 1961 seasons. Their 12–5 record improved on the 11–5 from the previous year. They tied the Chiefs for the top seed in the conference, winning the tiebreaker thanks to their victory over Kansas City back in Week 7. This meant earning the AFC's top seed again, a feat that they had failed to accomplish since 2008. After that, their season ended with a tight 19–16 loss to the eventual AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals, their third-straight playoff loss dating back three seasons.
