The 2022-2023 season is the Kansas City Chiefs' 53rd in the National Football League, their 63rd overall as they joined after the AFL–NFL merger. It's also their 6th under general manager Brett Veach and 10th under head coach Andy Reid. The Kansas City Chiefs hope to improve on their 12–5 record from 2021-2022 and hope to win their seventh AFC West title in a row, their fifth straight AFC Championship, and third Super Bowl in four seasons.

The current Chiefs franchise was founded in 1959, as the Dallas Texans, a charter member of the AFL. It relocated to Kansas City and rebranded to its current name in 1963.

They have hosted their home games in the Arrowhead Stadium since 1973. The last of its renovations were made in 2007, at the same time as neighboring Kauffman Stadium of the Kansas City Royals MLB baseball team, in which both were completely refurbished and modernized. Its 76,416 localities are often sold-out, and its crowd holds the Guinness World record for the loudest stadium, hitting 142.2 decibels, equivalent to the sound of a military jet takeoff at a 50 ft distance.

The Chiefs won three AFL championships, in 1962, 1966, and 1969, and were the second AFL team, after the New York Jets, to defeat an NFL team in a Championship Game, in Super Bowl IV, when they beat the Minnesota Vikings, in the final game before both leagues merged. The Chiefs are also the second team after the Green Bay Packers in the AFL to appear in multiple Super Bowls and the first to make it to the Big game in two decades.

Despite their postseason success early in the team's history, they struggled to succeed in the playoffs for decades, losing ten of eleven playoff games from 1993 to 2017, including an eight-game losing streak. Since then, things have turned around, with the Chiefs winning five of their last six playoff games, including Super Bowl LIV in 2020, their first championship in fifty years. However, in 2021, the team lost Super Bowl LV to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Since taking the reigns in 2018, quarterback Patrick Mahomes has guided the Chiefs to four consecutive 12-win campaigns and four straight AFC Championship Games, meaning that Kansas City should still cruise its way to the postseason without much resistance. Current lines at BetPhoenix Chiefs futures odds for total wins this season are listed at 10.5 in BetPhoanys.ag.

How to Bet on the Kansas City Chiefs

BetPhoenix.ag offers an exciting and highly lucrative way to follow and get the best Kansas City Chiefs odds during the NFL season.

Placing your Kansas City Chiefs bets on BetPhoenix thru the NFL football season can be a profitable and fun endeavor, particularly if you put in some time and research. This guide is just one of many helpful tools BetPhoenix offers to help you maximize your chances of winning when wagering on NFL games, from the preseason through the Super Bowl.

Kansas City Chiefs Spreads

The points spread indicates the winning or losing margin. This is an example of a Kansas City Chiefs Spreads line:

Team Points Spread Odds

Kansas City Chiefs -6 -110

Arizona Cardinals +6 -110

Kansas City Chiefs are a -6 favorite against the Arizona Cardinals. That makes the Cardinals a +6 underdog. A small spread of 5 or fewer points means that the game is expected to be a close matchup, while a large spread of 6+ points means that the favorite is expected to perform much better than the underdog.

When betting on the Chiefs spreads, in this case, -6, those who wager on the favorite, in this case, the Kansas City Chiefs, hope they win by a margin of points greater than the point spread. On the other hand, to cash in on the Cardinals Spread +6 as the underdog, the positive spread team must win or lose by a margin smaller than the six points of the spread.

· Chiefs win by more than 6 points: Chiefs bettors win

· Chiefs win by precisely 6 points: The bet is a push, and all wagers are refunded

· Chiefs win by less than 6 points: Cardinals bettors win

· Cardinals win the game: Cardinals bettors win

Kansas City Chiefs Moneylines

The Chiefs Moneylines bet is the easiest and simplest bet in sports betting. You pick which side you expect will win the game. Negative odds are for favorites and positive for underdogs. Like the spread, a negative value indicates the favorite, and a positive value indicates an underdog. The Kansas City Chiefs Moneyline is listed as follows:

Team Moneyline

Kansas City Chiefs -275

Arizona Cardinals +220

Moneylines use American odds based on a $100 bet. The amount you win or lose varies depending on the event because the odds are adjusted based on each team's or player's skill. The larger the Moneyline numbers indicate a bigger favorite or more significant underdog in the game. Using this example, the Kansas City Chiefs Moneyline would result as follows:

· Chiefs Moneyline: If you wagered to win $100 by betting on Kansas City Chiefs -275, you would need to risk $275.

· Cardinals Moneyline: For every $100 wagered on the Cardinals +220, you would receive $220 if Arizona wins the game.

Kansas City Chiefs Over/Under Totals

The Chiefs Totals bet is an estimated projected final score based on how we envision the game will unfold from a scoring perspective. Chiefs Totals are expressed in an Over/Under set, in which you pick if you expect this result to be over or under this estimate. The total points take into account both teams' scorings. The Chiefs Totals for the game are listed as follows:

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Seattle Seahawks

· Total: 54.5

· Over odds: -110

· Under odds: -110

For every $1.10 risked on either option, you'd win $1.

Kansas City Chiefs Parlays

Chiefs Parlays is a wager type in which two or more bets are linked together to form a single bet with a higher payout. However, for the bet to win, all selections must win.

Betphoenix will increase your Kansas City Chiefs Parlays payout as you add more games to your Chiefs parlay because winning becomes less likely as you add more teams. You can combine point spreads, moneylines, over/under, player props, and other wagers. You can choose between favorites and underdogs.

Let's say you believe the Kansas City Chiefs Spread (-6) and the Over (54.5) will cover their spreads. You may add a couple more plays to the Chiefs parlay, like the Denver Broncos -6.5 over the Seattle Seahawks and the over (44.5) on that game. You can parlay them together on a 4-team Chiefs Parlay, risking $100 for a payout of about 11 times your bet instead of risking $50 to bet on each separately (and earning close to $1120 if all four picks are winners).

· Chiefs Spread covers, Chiefs over/under covers, Broncos Spread covers, and the Broncos over/under covers. All bets cover: Win $1228.33

· Chiefs Spread pushes, Chiefs over/under covers, Broncos spread pushes, and the Broncos over/under covers. The push is canceled, and it becomes a 3-team parlay: Win $595.79

· Chiefs Spread covers, Chiefs over/under doesn't cover, Broncos Spread covers, and the Broncos over/under covers. Loss: -$100

· Chiefs Spread covers, Chiefs over/under covers, Broncos spread doesn't cover, and the Broncos over/under covers. Loss: -$100

· Chiefs Spread covers, Chiefs over/under covers, Broncos Spread covers, and the Broncos over/under doesn't cover. Loss: -$100

Any lost pick within the parlay selection constitutes a loss.

Kansas City Chiefs Teasers

Like Parlays, Kansas City Chiefs Teasers combine separate lines but adjust the point spreads to be more in your favor. Like a parlay, you need all your lines to hit in order to win your ticket; however, you can adjust the preset point spread or total lines to lower your risk.

Chiefs Teasers often start at 6 points and can go up to 6.5 and 7 points. The most common Teaser is the two team 6 points that pay the same as a regular -110 wager.

However, placing Chiefs Teasers comes at a cost. Since teasers move the line so favorably in the direction of your choice, you are minimizing risk but also minimizing payout opportunities. Based on the previous example, we can tease the Chiefs spread -6 and Chiefs total Over 44.5, Broncos -6.5 and the Broncos Over 44.5 on a 7-point 4-team teaser would be as follows:

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Arizona Cardinals

· Original Chiefs spread -6 with a 54.5 Chiefs Over/Under

· New adjusted like Chiefs spread +1 with a new over 47.5 for the Chiefs Over/Under

Denver Broncos vs. Seattle Seahawks

· Original Broncos spread -6.5 with a 44.5 Broncos Over/Under

· New adjusted like Broncos spread +0.5 with a new over 37.5 for the 49 Broncos ers Over/Under

The Chiefs odds were originally a -6 points favorite against the Seahawks with a Total of 54.5. In a hypothetical case of the Chiefs winning 27-24 (-3/51), the Chiefs odds and Over failed to cover the original spreads but would have covered and won with the 4-team 7-point Teaser; they would cover the new -1 point spread and the over 47.5 points.

Kansas City Chiefs Prop Bets

It's fun to bet on the outcome of Chiefs games, but there are other ways to get involved. NFL Prop bets are one of the most exciting and common ways to do this. A single game or the entire season can serve as the inspiration for a prop.

Chiefs Prop Bets include season-long possibilities like who will have the most rushing yards and the most touchdowns and who will be named MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, or even Super Bowl MVP.

You can access the available props for a game by clicking on the Live Lines Odds listing. There are lots of different props options to explore and choose from, including:

1. Chiefs Quarterback total TD passes (Over/Under 2.5)

2. Will the Chiefs score first? (Yes/No)

3. Which team will make the longest field goal? (Chiefs/Cardinals)

The Chiefs Prop bets odds can vary, and more options may be available as the season progresses. Take the time to keep checking Betphoenix.ag available props selections all year long to find what you want and get more bang for the buck on your winning bets.

These are just a few examples. NFL props can be numerous and even exceed 300 props for the Super Bowl.

The best odds on futures are typically found in the offseason before the regular season has even begun. This makes picking a winner for the Super Bowl or Most Valuable Player award before the season has even started all the more exciting.

Kansas City Chiefs 2021-2022 Season Recap

The 2021-20200 season was the Kansas City Chiefs 52nd season in the NFL, 62nd overall, and ninth under head coach Andy Reid.

Hoping to become the fourth team in NFL history to make it to three Super Bowls consecutively, the Chiefs started the season at a slow pace, with a 3-4 record, but would improve their form to finish with a 12-5 record for the regular season, to win their division title for the sixth year in a row. The Chiefs would host their fourth straight conference championship, losing it to the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime, 24–27. This would be the final season for long-time wide receiver Tyreek Hill, as he was traded to the Dolphins.

Andy Reid attained his 100th win as the Chiefs' coach in a victory against his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles. He is also the first coach in NFL history to win 100 games with multiple teams. He is also the first head coach to lead multiple teams to 4 straight Conference Finals.
