The 2022-2023 season is the Cincinnati Bengals' 53rd in the NFL, their 55th overall as they joined after the AFL–NFL merger. It's also their fourth under head coach Zac Taylor. After making it to Super Bowl LVI, the Bengals will attempt to make it to the big game in back-to-back seasons for the first time in franchise history and improve on their previous 10-7 record.

This will also be their 22nd season playing their home games in the newly renamed Paycor Stadium, which was previously named after the founder and first head coach Paul Brown since its opening in the year 2000. This outdoor football stadium has a capacity of 65,515 and features open corners that allow the fans great views of the downtown skyline and the bridges crossing the Ohio River. It is located in Downtown Cincinnati, by Smale Riverfront Park and the Cincinnati Reds' Great American Ball Park. It

The Cincinnati Bengals were founded in 1965 by Paul Brown, head coach for the Cleveland Browns, in the interest of developing another franchise in Ohio. Both the city's Hamilton County offices, joined by MLB's Cincinnati Reds, stroked a deal to build Riverfront Stadium, a new shared venue for both teams. Cincinnati was of particular interest to the league, as they could see from the Reds' experience they could draw fans from a wide area that included Dayton, Columbus, and Springfield in Ohio, and Lexington and Louisville in Kentucky.

The Bengals have won their conference ten times, the AFC Central in 1970, 1973, 1981, 1988, and 1990, and the AFC North in 2005, 2009, 2013, 2015, and 2021. They have won the AFC championship thrice, in 1981, 1988, and 2021, resulting in trips to the Super Bowl. The third time they lost Super Bowl LVI to the Los Angeles Rams.

The gap period in the 1990s and early 2000s was a great struggle, as they went fourteen years without recording a winning season, much less qualifying for the playoffs. The Bengals went through several head coaches and had misfortune in their top draft picks, as they did not perform as expected. Their fortunes improved in the mid-2000s and continued to improve until now, when they have become a consistent postseason contender.

The Bengals numbers were not particularly impressive in any given department, and they appear to be a step below the other AFC powerhouses. Still, the team as a whole has been delivering. Current lines at BetPhoenix Bengals futures odds for total wins this season are listed at 9.5 in BetPhoanys.ag.

How to Bet on the Cincinnati Bengals

BetPhoenix.ag offers an exciting and highly lucrative way to follow and get the best Cincinnati Bengals odds during the NFL season.

Placing your Cincinnati Bengals bets on BetPhoenix thru the NFL football season can be a profitable and fun endeavor, particularly if you put in some time and research. This guide is just one of many helpful tools BetPhoenix offers to help you maximize your chances of winning when wagering on NFL games, from the preseason through the Super Bowl.

Cincinnati Bengals Spreads

The points spread indicates the winning or losing margin. This is an example of a Cincinnati Bengals Spreads line:

Team Points Spread Odds

Cincinnati Bengals -7 -110

Pittsburgh Steelers +7 -110

The Cincinnati Bengals are a -7 favorite against the Pittsburgh Steelers. That makes the Steelers a +7 underdog. A small spread of 5 or fewer points means that the game is expected to be a close matchup, while a large spread of 6+ points means that the favorite is expected to perform much better than the underdog.

When betting on the Bengals spreads, in this case, -7, those who wager on the favorite, in this case, the Cincinnati Bengals, hope they win by a margin of points greater than the point spread. On the other hand, to cash in on the Pittsburgh Steelers +7 as the underdog, the positive spread team must win, or lose by a margin smaller than the point spread.

· Bengals win by eight or more points: Bengals bettors win

· Bengals win by precisely 7 points: The bet is a push, and all wagers are refunded

· Bengals win by six points or less: Steelers bettors win

· Steelers win the game: Steelers bettors win

Cincinnati Bengals Moneylines

The Bengals Moneylines bet is the easiest and simplest bet in sports betting. You pick which side you expect will win the game. Negative odds are for favorites and positive for underdogs. Like the spread, a negative value indicates the choice, and a positive value indicates an underdog.

The Cincinnati Bengals Moneyline is listed in BetPhoenix as follows:

Team Moneyline

Cincinnati Bengals -350

Pittsburgh Steelers +270

Moneylines use American odds based on a $100 bet. The amount you win or lose varies depending on the event because the odds are adjusted based on each team's or player's skill. The larger the Moneyline numbers indicate a bigger favorite or more significant underdog in the game. Using this example, the Cincinnati Bengals Moneyline would result as follows:

· Bengals Moneyline: If you wagered to win $100 by betting on the Bengals -350, you would need to risk $350.

· Steelers Moneyline: For every $100 wagered on the Bengals +270, you would receive $270 if Pittsburg wins the game.

Cincinnati Bengals Over/Under Totals

The Bengals Totals bet is an estimated projected final score based on how we envision the game will unfold from a scoring perspective. Bengals Totals are expressed in an Over/Under set, in which you pick if you expect this result to be over or under this estimate. The total points take into account both teams' scorings. The Bengals Totals are listed in BetPhoenix as follows:

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

· Total: 44.5

· Over odds: -110

· Under odds: -110

For every $1.10 risked on either option, you'd win $1.

Cincinnati Bengals Parlays

Bengals Parlays is a wager type in which two or more bets are linked together to form a single bet with a higher payout. However, for the bet to win, all selections must win.

Betphoenix will increase your Cincinnati Bengals Parlays payout as you add more games to your Bengals parlay because winning becomes less likely as you add more teams. You can combine point spreads, moneylines, over/under, player props, and other wagers. You can choose between favorites and underdogs.

Let's say you believe the Cincinnati Bengals Spread (-7) and the Over (44.5) will cover their spreads. You may add a couple more plays to the Bengals parlay, like Carolina Panthers -1.5 over the Cleveland Browns and the Over (42.5) on that game. You can parlay them together on a 4-team Bengals Parlay, risking $100 for a payout of about 10x times your bet instead of risking $100 to bet on each separately (and earning over $1100 if all four picks are winners).

· Bengals Spread covers, Bengals over/under covers, Panthers Spread covers, and the Panthers over/under covers. All bets cover: Win $1228.33

· Bengals Spread pushes, Bengals over/under covers, Panthers Spread covers, and the Panthers over/under covers. The push is canceled, and it becomes a 3-team parlay: Win $595.79

· Bengals Spread covers, Bengals over/under doesn't cover, Panthers Spread covers, and the Panthers over/under covers. Loss: -$100

· Bengals Spread covers, Bengals over/under covers, Panthers Spread doesn't cover, and the Panthers over/under covers. Loss: -$100

· Bengals Spread covers, Bengals over/under covers, Panthers Spread covers, and the Panthers over/under doesn't cover. Loss: -$100

Any lost pick within the parlay selection constitutes a loss.

Cincinnati Bengals Teasers

Like Parlays, Cincinnati Bengals Teasers combine separate lines but adjust the point spreads to be more in your favor. Like a parlay, you need all your lines to hit in order to win your ticket; however, you can adjust the preset point spread or total lines to lower your risk.

Bengals Teasers often start at 6 points and can go up to 6.5 and 7 points. The most common Teaser is the two team 6 points that pay the same as a regular -110 wager.

However, placing Bengals Teasers comes at a cost. Since teasers move the line so favorably in the direction of your choice, you are minimizing risk but also minimizing payout opportunities. Based on the previous example, we can tease the Bengals spread -7 and Bengals total Over 44.5, the Panthers spread -1.5 and the Panthers Over 42.5 on a 6-point 4-team Bengals teaser would be as follows:

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburg Steelers

· Original Bengals spread -7 with a 45.5 Bengals Over/Under

· New adjusted teased Bengals spread -1 with a new over 39.5 for the Bengals Over/Under

Carolina Panthers vs. Cleveland Browns

· Original Panthers spread -1.5 with a 42.5 Panthers Over/Under

· New adjusted teased Panthers +4.5 with a new over 36.5 for the Panthers Over/Under

The Bengals odds were originally a -7 points favorite against the Steelers, with a Bengals Totals of 45.5. In a hypothetical case of the Bengals losing the game 24-21 (-3/45), the Bengals odds and Over failed to cover the original spreads but would have covered and won with the 4-team 7-point Teaser; they would cover the new -1 point spread and the over 39.5 points.

Note that on teasers, unlike parlays, a push is a loss.

Cincinnati Bengals Prop Bets

It's fun to bet on the outcome of Bengals' games, but there are other ways to get involved. NFL Prop bets are one of the most exciting and common ways to do this. A single game or the entire season can serve as the inspiration for a prop.

Bengals Prop Bets include season-long possibilities like who will have the most rushing yards and the most touchdowns and who will be named MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, or even Super Bowl MVP.

You can access the available props for a game by clicking on the Live Lines Odds listing. There are lots of different props options to explore and choose from, including:

1. Bengals QB passing yards in the game. (Over/Under)

2. Which quarter will be the highest scoring? (1, 2, 3 or 4)

3. Which team will record more sacks? (Bengals/Steelers)

The Bengals Prop bets odds can vary, and more options may be available as the season progresses. So take the time to keep checking Betphoenix.ag available props selections all year long to find what you want and get more bang for the buck on your winning bets.

These are just a few examples. NFL props can be numerous and even exceed 300 props for the Super Bowl.

Cincinnati Bengals Futures Odds

You can obtain better odds and a greater chance of winning while reducing your risk by betting on futures, which allow you to choose winners and recipients of various NFL awards and honors in advance. The best odds on futures are typically found in the offseason before the regular season has even begun. This makes picking a winner for the Super Bowl or Most Valuable Player award before the season has even started all the more exciting.

• Bengals Odds to Win the AFC North Division: +200

• Bengals Odds To Win The AFC: +1100

• Bengals Odds to Win the Super Bowl: +2000

Cincinnati Bengals Odds To Win the AFC North

The Bengals are listed as a close second to the Baltimore Ravens as favorites to win the AFC North, with the Cleveland Browns trailing closely and the Pittsburgh Steelers standing last as the longshot. While it's not hard to back a young team that reached the Super Bowl last year, they have to challenge a more talented team in the Baltimore Ravens and fend off the upcoming Cleveland Browns, who could be tricky.

The Bengals Odds are +200 to win the AFC North.

Cincinnati Bengals Odds To Win the AFC Championship

The Bengals are listed on the list of secondary options to win the AFC, a good margin behind the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs, and together with the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, and Baltimore Ravens. Despite Cincinnati being the reigning AFC champions, it seems fair that their regular season performance continues to be unpredictable.

The Bengals Odds are +1100 to win the NFC Championship.

Cincinnati Bengals Odds To Win the Super Bowl

The Bengals are listed at the top of the middle tier to win this year's Super Bowl, leading that pack alongside the Baltimore Ravens and in the excellent company of the Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland BrownsIndianapolis Colts, and Philadelphia Eagles following closely. Although it doesn't look like Cincinnati can make it deep into the postseason again, it certainly didn't look like they could last year, so it wouldn't be a huge surprise to see them do it again.

The Bengals Super Bowl Odds are +2000. Check out our current Super Bowl Odds.

Cincinnati Bengals 2021-2022 Season Recap

The 2021-2022 season was the Bengals' 52nd season in the NFL and their third under head coach Zac Taylor. The Cincinnati Bengals completed the season with a 10–7 record, above their wins total from the two previous seasons combined. The Bengals posted their first winning season, playoff appearance, and conference title since 2015. It's also their first Super Bowl appearance since 1988 when they lost Super Bowl XXIII.

The Bengals began the playoffs by winning the Wild Card round against the Las Vegas Raiders, marking their first playoff victory since 1990, ending the longest playoff win drought. In the divisional round, they surprisingly beat the top-seeded Tennessee Titans, advancing to the AFC Championship Game for the first time since 1988. Then, they upset the second-seeded Kansas City Chiefs in overtime, advancing to Super Bowl, their third Super Bowl appearance and first in 33 years. However, the Cincinnati Bengals were defeated by the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl LVI by 23–20.
