The 2022-2023 season is the Philadelphia Eagles 90th in the NFL, 12th overall under general manager Howie Roseman (seventh since his rehiring by the organization), and their second under head coach Nick Sirianni. The Eagles look to improve upon their 2021-2022 record of 9–8, return to the playoffs for the fifth time in six seasons, and win the NFC East for the first time since 2019.

It's also their 20th playing their home games at Lincoln Financial Field, also known as "The Linc," a modern open-roof 69,879 capacity venue located in South Philly, designed to evoke the namesake eagle with wing-like canopies above the stands and the "Eagle's Nest" balcony in the north end-zone. Open corners provide fans with views of the Philadelphia skyline.

Established in 1933 to replace the bankrupt Frankford Yellow Jackets. The Eagles have 27 playoff appearances; won 14 division titles, 11 of them in the NFC East; appeared in four pre-merger NFL Championship Games, winning three of them in 1948, 1949, and 1960; and in three Super Bowls, winning Super Bowl LII in the 2017-2018 season.

Thirteen individuals affiliated with the Eagles have been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, including Bert Bell, Chuck Bednarik, Bob Brown, Brian Dawkins, Reggie White, Steve Van Buren, Tommy McDonald, Dick Vermeil, Greasy Neale, Pete Pihos, Harold Carmichael, Sonny Jurgensen, and Norm Van Brocklin.

Their rivalry with the New York Giants was ranked as the number one rivalry of all-time by NFL Network, the fourth-best rivalry in the NFL according to Sports Illustrated, and one of the fiercest and most well-known rivalries in American football by ESPN. They also have bitter rivalries with the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steelers, known as the battle of Pennsylvania, dating back to 1933. The Philadelphia Eagles are the top team in the league in terms of attendance, having sold out every single game since 1999.

The Philadelphia Eagles have one of the top offensive lines in the league. Talented quarterback Jalen Hurts looking to take a leap in his third year, coupled with a fearsome lineup led by wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. To top that off, the Eagles have the second-easiest schedule in the league, according to Action Network. Expectations are high for the Philadelphia Eagles this season. They are the favorites to win the NFC East and could potentially be a Super Bowl threat. Current lines at BetPhoenix Eagles futures odds for total wins this season are listed at 8.5 in BetPhoanys.ag.

How to Bet on the Philadelphia Eagles

BetPhoenix.ag offers an exciting and highly lucrative way to follow and get the best Philadelphia Eagles odds during the NFL season.

Placing your Philadelphia Eagles bets on BetPhoenix thru the NFL football season can be a profitable and fun endeavor, particularly if you put in some time and research. This guide is just one of many helpful tools BetPhoenix offers to help you maximize your chances of winning when wagering on NFL games, from the preseason through the Super Bowl.

Philadelphia Eagles Spreads

The points spread indicates the winning or losing margin. This is an example of a Philadelphia Eagles Spreads line:

Team Points Spread Odds

Philadelphia Eagles -6 -110

Detroit Lions +6 -110

Philadelphia Eagles are a -6 favorite against the Detroit Lions. That makes the Lions a +6 underdog. A small spread of 5 or fewer points means that the game is expected to be a close matchup, while a large spread of 6+ points means that the favorite is expected to perform much better than the underdog.

When betting on the Eagles spreads, in this case, -6, those who wager on the favorite, in this case, the Philadelphia Eagles, hope they win by a margin of points greater than the point spread. On the other hand, to cash in on the Lions Spread +6 as the underdog, the positive spread team must win or lose by a margin smaller than the six points of the spread.

· Eagles win by more than 6 points: Eagles bettors win

· Eagles win by precisely 6 points: The bet is a push, and all wagers are refunded

· Eagles win by 1-5 points: Lions bettors win

· Lions win the game: Lions bettors win

Philadelphia Eagles Moneylines

The Eagles Moneylines bet is the easiest and simplest bet in sports betting. You pick which side you expect will win the game. Negative odds are for favorites and positive for underdogs. Like the spread, a negative value indicates the favorite, and a positive value indicates an underdog. The Philadelphia Eagles Moneyline is listed in BetPhoenix as follows:

Team Moneyline

Philadelphia Eagles -250

Detroit Lions +200

Moneylines use American odds based on a $100 bet. The amount you win or lose varies depending on the event because the odds are adjusted based on each team's or player's skill. The larger the Moneyline numbers indicate a bigger favorite or more significant underdog in the game. Using this example, the Philadelphia Eagles Moneyline would result as follows:

· Eagles Moneyline: If you wagered to win $100 by betting on Philadelphia Eagles -250, you would need to risk $250.

· Lions Moneyline: For every $100 wagered on the Lions +200, you would receive $200 if Detroit wins the game.

Philadelphia Eagles Over/Under Totals

The Eagles Totals bet is an estimated projected final score based on how we envision the game will unfold from a scoring perspective. Eagles Totals are expressed in an Over/Under set, in which you pick if you expect this result to be over or under this estimate. The total points take into account both teams' scorings. The Eagles Over/Under Totals are listed in BetPhoenix as follows:

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Detroit Lions Over/Under

· Total: 48.5

· Over odds: -110

· Under odds: -110

For every $1.10 risked on either option, you'd win $1.

Philadelphia Eagles Parlays

Eagles Parlays is a wager type in which two or more bets are linked together to form a single bet with a higher payout. However, for the bet to win, all selections must win.

Betphoenix will increase your Philadelphia Eagles Parlays payout as you add more games to your parlay because winning becomes less likely as you add more teams. You can combine point spreads, moneylines, over/under, player props, and other wagers. You can choose between favorites and underdogs.

Let's say you believe the Philadelphia Eagles Spread (-6) and the Over (48.5) will cover their spreads. You may add a couple more plays to the parlay, like the New Orleans Saints -5.5 over the Atlanta Falcons and the over (43.5) on that game. You can parlay them together on a 4-team Eagles Parlay, risking $50 for a payout of about 11 times your bet instead of risking $50 to bet on each separately (and earning close to $560 if all four picks are winners).

· Eagles Spread covers, Eagles over/under covers, Saints Spread covers, and the Saints over/under covers. All bets cover: Win $614.17

· Eagles Spread pushes, Eagles over/under covers, Saints spread pushes, and the Saints over/under covers. The push is canceled, and it becomes a 3-team Eagles parlay: Win $297.90

· Eagles Spread covers, Eagles over/under doesn’t cover, Saints Spread covers, and the Saints over/under covers. Loss: -$50

· Eagles Spread covers, Eagles over/under covers, Saints spread doesn’t cover, and the Saints over/under covers. Loss: -$50

· Eagles Spread covers, Eagles over/under covers, Saints Spread covers, and the Saints over/under doesn’t cover. Loss: -$50

Any lost pick within the parlay selection constitutes a loss.

Philadelphia Eagles Teasers

Like Parlays, Philadelphia Eagles Teasers combine separate lines but adjust the point spreads to be more in your favor. Like a parlay, you need all your lines to hit in order to win your ticket; however, you can adjust the preset point spread or total lines to lower your risk.

Eagles Teasers often start at 6 points and can go up to 6.5 and 7 points. The most common Teaser is the two team 6 points that pay the same as a regular -110 wager.

However, placing Eagles Teasers comes at a cost. Since teasers move the line so favorably in the direction of your choice, you are minimizing risk but also minimizing payout opportunities. Based on the previous example, we can tease the Eagles spread -6 and Eagles total Over 48.5, Saints -5.5 and the Saints Over 43.5 on a 6.5-point 4-team teaser would be as follows:

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Detroit Lions

· Original Eagles spread -6 with a 48.5 Eagles Over/Under

· New adjusted like Eagles spread +0.5 with a new over 42 for the Eagles Over/Under

New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons

· Original Saints spread -5.5 with a 43.5 Saints Over/Under

· New adjusted like Saints spread +1 with a new over 37 for the Saints Over/Under

The Eagles odds were originally a -6 points favorite against the Lions with a Total of 48.5. In a hypothetical case of the Eagles winning 25-21 (+4/47), the Eagles odds and Over failed to cover the original spreads but would have covered and won with the 4-team 6.5-point Teaser; they would cover the new +0.5 point spread and the over 42 points.

Philadelphia Eagles Prop Bets

It's fun to bet on the outcome of Eagles games, but there are other ways to get involved. NFL Prop bets are one of the most exciting and common ways to do this. A single game or the entire season can serve as the inspiration for a prop.

Eagles Prop Bets include season-long possibilities like who will have the most rushing yards, the most touchdowns, and who will be named MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, or even Super Bowl MVP.

You can access the available props for a game by clicking on the Live Lines Odds listing. There are lots of different props options to explore and choose from, including:

  1. Will the first Eagle’s touchdown be a pass? (Yes/No)
  2. Will the last team to score win? (Yes/No)
  3. How many turnovers in the game? (Over/Under)

The Eagles Prop bets odds can vary, and more options may be available as the season progresses. Take the time to keep checking Betphoenix.ag available props selections all year long to find what you want and get more bang for the buck on your winning bets.

These are just a few examples. NFL props can be numerous and even exceed 300 props for the Super Bowl.

Philadelphia Eagles Futures Odds

You can obtain better odds and a greater chance of winning while reducing your risk by betting on futures, which allow you to choose winners and recipients of various NFL awards and honors in advance. The best odds on futures are typically found in the offseason before the regular season has even begun. This makes picking a winner for the Super Bowl or Most Valuable Player award before the season has even started all the more exciting.

• Eagles Odds to Win the NFC East Division: -220

• Eagles Odds To Win The NFC: +500

• Eagles Odds to Win the Super Bowl: +1000

Philadelphia Eagles Odds To Win the NFC East

Based on what the Betphoenix Eagles Futures odds suggest, the Eagles are absolute favorites to win the division. They are the team to beat for the CowboysCommanders, and Giants, and it’s probably the best price tag considering their calendar starts with relatively easy matchups against the LionsVikings, Commanders, and Jaguars.

The Eagles Odds are -220 to win the NFC East.

Philadelphia Eagles Odds To Win the NFC Championship

The Eagles are listed in the favorites top group, only behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Los Angeles Rams, and Green Bay Packers. While it’s almost certain that Philly will make the playoffs, the potential matchups with very formidable rivals are great for the division title.

The Eagles Odds are +500 to win the NFC Championship.

Philadelphia Eagles Odds To Win the Super Bowl

The Eagles are listed within a crowded top tier of Super Bowl contenders, above the middle class constituted by teams like the Ravens, Bengals, Browns, and Colts, but still a step or two below the current favorites lineup of the Bills, Chiefs, Bucs, Packers, and Rams. It won’t be a complete surprise if Philly ends up doing some damage this postseason, but making it to the Super Bowl, and much less winning it, is something they haven’t yet proven capable of.

The Eagles Super Bowl Odds are +1000. Check out our current Super Bowl Odds.

Philadelphia Eagles 2021-2022 Season Recap

The 2021-2022 season was the Philadelphia Eagles' 89th season in the NFL and first under head coach Nick Sirianni. They improved on their 2020-2021 record of 4–11–1 after a Week 11 win against the New Orleans Saints by 40–29, securing a playoff spot after a one-year absence. This was the Eagles' first season without quarterback Carson Wentz since 2015, who left in a trade to the Colts.

The Eagles had a slow season start, with a disappointing 2–5 record. However, they managed to turn things around, going 7–2 in the following nine games, clinching a playoff berth after a one-year absence. The Eagles finished in a tie for the last seed with the New Orleans Saints but won the tiebreaker based on their head-to-head. The Eagles faced the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card game, losing by 31–15 to the defending champions.

Despite the 9–8 record, the Eagles did not win a single game against any team that made the playoffs last season.
