The 2022-2023 season is the Jacksonville Jaguars' 28th season in the NFL and their first under head coach Doug Pederson after the firing of coach Urban Meyer after only 13 games of last season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars were founded alongside the Carolina Panthers in 1995 as an expansion team. They initially competed in the AFC Central until reassigned to the AFC South in 2002. They expect to improve on their 3–14 record last season and return to the playoff for the first time in five years.

They are based at TIAA Bank Field in downtown Jacksonville, FL. This modern stadium, with a capacity of up to 82,000 people, opened in 1995. It was built next to and using a few portions of the historic Gator Bowl Stadium, built in 1928, now demolished. The stadium is also home to several college football events like the Gator Bowl and the Florida-Georgia football rivalry. They also temporarily hosted the New Orleans Saints during the 2021-2022 season after they relocated from the Superdome after Hurricane Ida.

The Jaguars made a name for themselves quickly by reaching the playoffs in four of their five first seasons, earning two division titles, and appearing in two AFC Championship games. Along with the Panthers, they are the youngest NFL expansion team to make it to a conference championship and to earn the top seed in their conference in their fifth season. But, unfortunately, they have not been able to recapture that initial glory ever since.

While Jacksonville should be able to improve on last year's mark, looking at the calendar, it seems like they have six or seven winnable matches. Current lines at BetPhoenix Jaguars futures odds for total wins this season are listed at 6.5 in BetPhoanys.ag.

How to Bet on the Jacksonville Jaguars

BetPhoenix.ag offers an exciting and highly lucrative way to follow and get the best Jacksonville Jaguars odds during the NFL season.

Placing your Jacksonville Jaguars bets on BetPhoenix thru the NFL football season can be a profitable and fun endeavor, particularly if you put in some time and research. This guide is just one of many helpful tools BetPhoenix offers to help you maximize your chances of winning when wagering on NFL games, from the preseason through the Super Bowl.

Jacksonville Jaguars Spreads

The points spread indicates the winning or losing margin. This is an example of a Jacksonville Jaguars Spreads line:

Team Points Spread Odds

Washington Commanders -3 -110

Jacksonville Jaguars +3 -110

Jacksonville Jaguars are a +3 underdog against the Washington Commanders. That makes the Commanders a -3 favorite. A small spread of 5 or fewer points means that the game is expected to be a close matchup, while a large spread of 6+ points means that the favorite is expected to perform much better than the underdog.

When betting on the Jaguars spreads, in this case, +3, those who wager on the underdog, in this case, the Jacksonville Jaguars, hope they win, or lose by a margin of points smaller than the point spread. On the other hand, to cash in on the Washington Commanders -3 as the favorite, the negative spread team must win by a margin greater than the points of the spread.

· Commanders win by four or more points: Commanders bettors win

· Commanders win by precisely 3 points: The bet is a push, and all wagers are refunded

· Commanders win by two points or less: Jaguars bettors win

· Jaguars win the game: Jaguars bettors win

Jacksonville Jaguars Moneylines

The Jaguars Moneylines bet is the easiest and simplest bet in sports betting. You pick which side you expect will win the game. Negative odds are for favorites and positive for underdogs. Like the spread, a negative value indicates the choice, and a positive value indicates an underdog.

The Jacksonville Jaguars Moneyline is listed in BetPhoenix as follows:

Team Moneyline

Washington Commanders -155

Jacksonville Jaguars +125

Moneylines use American odds based on a $100 bet. The amount you win or lose varies depending on the event because the odds are adjusted based on each team's or player's skill. The larger the Moneyline numbers indicate a bigger favorite or more significant underdog in the game. Using this example, the Jacksonville Jaguars Moneyline would result as follows:

· Jaguars Moneyline: For every $100 wagered on the Jaguars +125, you would receive $125 if Jacksonville wins the game.

· Commanders Moneyline: If you wagered to win $100 by betting on the Commanders -155, you would need to risk $155.

Jacksonville Jaguars Over/Under Totals

A Jaguars Totals bet is an estimated projected final score based on how we envision the game will unfold from a scoring perspective. Jaguars Totals are expressed in an Over/Under set, in which you pick if you expect this result to be over or under this estimate. The total points take into account both teams' scorings. The Jaguars Totals are listed in BetPhoenix as follows:

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Washington Commanders

· Total: 43.5

· Over odds: -110

· Under odds: -110

For every $1.10 risked on either option, you'd win $1.

Jacksonville Jaguars Parlays

Jaguars Parlays is a wager type in which two or more bets are linked together to form a single bet with a higher payout. However, for the bet to win, all selections must win.

Betphoenix will increase your Jacksonville Jaguars Parlays payout as you add more games to your Jaguars parlay because winning becomes less likely as you add more teams. You can combine point spreads, moneylines, over/under, player props, and other wagers. You can choose between favorites and underdogs.

Let's say you believe the Jacksonville Jaguars Spread (+3) and the Over (43.5) will cover their spreads. You may add a couple more plays to the Jaguars parlay, like Chicago Bears +6.5 over the San Francisco 49ers and the Over (38.5) on that game. You can parlay them together on a 4-team Jaguars Parlay, risking $75 for a payout of about 10x times your bet instead of risking $75 to bet on each separately (and earning close to $850 if all four picks are winners).

· Jaguars Spread covers, Jaguars over/under covers, Bears Spread covers, and the Bears over/under covers. All bets cover: Win $921.25

· Jaguars Spread pushes, Jaguars over/under covers, Bears Spread covers, and the Bears over/under covers. The push is canceled, and it becomes a 3-team parlay: Win $446.84

· Jaguars Spread covers, Jaguars over/under doesn't cover, Bears Spread covers, and the Bears over/under covers. Loss: -$75

· Jaguars Spread covers, Jaguars over/under covers, Bears Spread doesn't cover, and the Bears over/under covers. Loss: -$75

· Jaguars Spread covers, Jaguars over/under covers, Bears Spread covers, and the Bears over/under doesn't cover. Loss: -$75

Any lost pick within the parlay selection constitutes a loss.

Jacksonville Jaguars Teasers

Like Parlays, Jacksonville Jaguars Teasers combine separate lines but adjust the point spreads to be more in your favor. Like a parlay, you need all your lines to hit to win your ticket; however, you can adjust the preset point spread or total lines to lower your risk.

Jaguars Teasers often start at 6 points and can go up to 6.5 and 7 points. The most common Teaser is the two team 6 points that pay the same as a regular -110 wager.

However, placing Jaguars Teasers comes at a cost. Since teasers move the line so favorably in the direction of your choice, you are minimizing risk but also minimizing payout opportunities. Based on the previous example, we can tease the Jaguars spread +3 and Jaguars total Over 43.5, the Bears spread +6.5 and the Bears Over 38.5 on a 6.5-point 4-team Jaguars teaser would be as follows:

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Washington Commanders

· Original Jaguars spread +3 with a 43.5 Jaguars Over/Under

· New adjusted teased Jaguars spread +9.5 with a new over 37 for the Jaguars Over/Under

Chicago Bears vs. San Francisco 49ers

· Original Bears spread +6.5 with a 38.5 Bears Over/Under

· New adjusted teased Bears +13 with a new over 32 for the Jaguars Over/Under

The Jaguars odds were originally a +3 points underdog against the Commanders, with a Jaguars Totals of 43.5. In a hypothetical case of the Jaguars losing the game 23-20 (+3/43), the Jaguars odds and Over failed to cover the original spreads but would have covered and won with the 4-team 6-point Teaser; they would cover the new +9.5 point spread, and the over 37 points.

Note that on teasers, unlike parlays, a push is a loss.

Jacksonville Jaguars Prop Bets

It's fun to bet on the outcome of Jaguars games, but there are other ways to get involved. NFL Prop bets are one of the most exciting and common ways to do this. A single game or the entire season can serve as the inspiration for a prop.

Jaguars Prop Bets include season-long possibilities like who will have the most rushing yards and the most touchdowns and who will be named MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, or even Super Bowl MVP.

You can access the available props for a game by clicking on the Live Lines Odds listing. There are lots of different props options to explore and choose from, including:

1. Jaguars Defensive points allowed in the game. (Over/Under)

2. Will the team that makes the first score win? (Yes/No)

3. Will the total points in the first half be odd or even? (Odd/Even)

The Jaguars Prop bets odds can vary, and more options may be available as the season progresses. Take the time to keep checking Betphoenix.ag available props selections all year long to find what you want and get more bang for the buck on your winning bets.

These are just a few examples. NFL props can be numerous and even exceed 300 props for the Super Bowl.

Jacksonville Jaguars Futures Odds

You can obtain better odds and a greater chance of winning while reducing your risk by betting on futures, which allow you to choose winners and recipients of various NFL awards and honors in advance. The best odds on futures are typically found in the offseason before the regular season has even begun. This makes picking a winner for the Super Bowl or Most Valuable Player award before the season has even started all the more exciting.

• Jaguars Odds to Win the AFC South Division: +700

• Jaguars Odds To Win The NFC: +1400

• Jaguars Odds to Win the Super Bowl: +1000

Jacksonville Jaguars Odds To Win the AFC South

The Jaguars are listed at the second worst odd to win the AFC South, in the middle of a chasm between the favorites Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans, and well ahead of absolute underdog Houston Texans that more than triples Jacksonville as a longshot. While Jacksonville is an intriguing team, and it's not impossible for them to flip the script, it's doubtful that the Jags can find that extra sauce needed to win de division.

The Jaguars Odds are +700 to win the AFC South.

Jacksonville Jaguars Odds To Win the AFC Championship

Jacksonville is listed with the third worst odds to win the conference, only ahead of the New York Jets and Houston Texans. While some variables could work in the Jaguars' favor, winning the AFC is beyond the realm of miracles.

The Jaguars Odds are +5000 to win the NFC Championship.

Jacksonville Jaguars Odds To Win the Super Bowl

The Jaguars are listed at the deep end of the longshot's list to win the Super Bowl this year, at the top of that group that contains the New York GiantsCarolina PanthersDetroit Lions, New York Jets, and the Seattle Seahawks. While the Jaguars may look slightly better than most of those squads, it would be shocking if they made the playoffs, much less win the Super Bowl.

The Jaguars Super Bowl Odds are +10000. Check out our current Super Bowl Odds.

Jacksonville Jaguars 2021-2022 Season Recap

The 2021-2022 season was the Jacksonville Jaguars' 27th season in the NFL. This was their first season under general manager Trent Baalke and only season partially under head coach Urban Meyer.

Jacksonville selected quarterback Trevor Lawrence in the draft's first overall pick, as one of the top college football prospects, after winning the National Championship with Clemson, setting their record for most quarterback wins.

The Jaguars started the season carrying a 15-game losing streak, which continued up to 20 losses before beating the Miami Dolphins 23–20 in London. This would be the third longest losing streak in history, after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with 26 in the 1976–77 period and the Chicago Cardinals with 29 in the 1940s.

Jacksonville finished 3–14, dead last in the AFC South, the worst record in the league behind the Houston Texans and New York Jets, both with 4-13.

The Jaguars have been incredibly unpredictable, as their three wins were tough upset victories over huge contenders like the Buffalo BillsIndianapolis Colts, and Miami Dolphins; while going 0-4 against direct rivals like the New York Jets, Houston Texans, and Atlanta Falcons.
